This place is amazing. The music is loud and your food is served up with love. You can taste how happy the workers are in the delicious food. Plus, they give to those in need each month. Try a basil pineapple drink and eat every bit of salad they put on your plate. Little Poca Cosa is rejuvenating and reminds me what I love about Tucson.
Still one of the best places in Tucson. Not as nice as it used to be in the old hotel location, the music has changed, the view is bad, and instead of flowers, plants and artifacts, it is steel, and more streamlined. However, the house margaritas are still great, the salsa freshly made, the carne asada tender and flavorful. I preferred the old lively place with the homemade dressing in wine bottles on each table...but I am glad she is still around and doing her magic in the kitchen. Suzanna showed Tucson a new form of Mexican cooking, without heavy cheeses, guacamole, and nachos; instead she cooks in the Sonoran style and that is light, flavorful, and memorable food. Thank you Suzanna!
I was pleasantly surprised with the food here. I was put off by the whole drive thru thing but truth be told, a delicious mexican resturant that does authentic sea food and a six pack of negro modello though a window?!?! You can't beat that shit!! Plus sitting and eating was nice as well.
Ridiculous theme. Subpar food. Live and learn. We won't be back.
Nice place, old time Tucson feel. Really like that they have full menu from the time they open. Great old fashioned patty tacos.
One of the top Mexican restaruants in town, I've been eating there for 40 years. Best chimi by far (not the grease bombs you find elsewhere) Everyone knows the green corn tamales are the best anywhere.Fond, fond memories of eating there during H.S. (THS) With my buddies.
This our new favorite restaurant in Tucson. The margarita pitchers are the best! -Freshly squeezed limes yummy. Food is delish too! I can't make the happy hour but I would if I could. Check it out! Fun atmosphere!
NO LONGER OPEN. U COULD TKE THIS ONE OUT
It's hard to believe that this place is related to the Big Cafe Poca Cosa. It is incredibly loud, the service is perfunctory at best, and the food is pedestrian. Indeed, it is more like what you would expect at a stand, and having said that, most stands are better. Avoid.
The best new Mexican restaruant in Town
Very friendly staff, food is good and inexpensive.
Great $3 Margaritas
The service is great(very friendly) the food is inexpensive and good.
Make sure you don't drive by this place.
Yes, best ever. Thank god these guys are in my neighborhood and a way better alternative to Viva, or taco shop. Buen Taco!
I'm "visiting" Tucson while my husband prepares for a heart transplant and today was my birthday. I'm originally from Phoenix area and my husband knew I was missing various celebrations from friends and co-workers. He bid me go and find the best take-out in Tucson to enjoy back in the hospital room. The nurses on the cardiac floor recommended Guadalajaras. I easily found the location and headed in for take-out. Upon entering, I was overwhelmingly welcomed. Several staff recommended various dishes and were a delight in helping me choose. They escorted me to the bar for a fabulous margarita while I waited and even had the salsa prepared in front of me - apparently not normally done for take-out. Upon return to the hospital, to my surprise they had tucked in a fabulous piece of chocolate cake within a festively hand-decorated to go box. What a treat!!!! Who needs celebrations in Phoenix -- head to a charming place with fantastic food and caring service!! Number 1 in my book!
The food is pretty good here. It is a little different then the typical taco and burrito fare. They have some different items that are worth trying. Decent service. Prices could be cheaper though.
Re: “Casa Molina”
Low quality, yet fairly, cheap Mexican food. Multiple locations. However none are any better than the other.
