Big Heap Vintage and Antique Festival is Finally Coming to Tucson

It's time to get your hagglin' boots on because Big Heap is finally expanding down from Flagstaff and Phoenix an down into the Old Pueblo this year. On April 11 and 12, the flea market festival will take over Old Tucson Studios, located at 201 S. Kinney Road, with vintage, antique and handmade goods.

If the event is anything like the ones that our northerly neighbors throw, you can expect a near-overwhelming number of purveyors offering up the odd and unique to throngs of digging deal finders. According to the fest's website, the three-city event will "bring a love of good design, foreign bazaars, new experiences, cool people and antiques, all together in one place."

As of now, over 50 vendors are expected at the inaugural Tucson event. If you're interested in setting up shop and selling your one-of-a-kind wares at the event, you can sign up on the Big Heap website

However, for those just looking for some new-to-you decor essentials and closet staples from yesteryear, you can hit up the event both days from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. The event is $5 to attend and will likely be even better than the others, which have been called "vintage Woodstock," because, as we all know, the thrifting is better in Tucson anyways. Happy hunting.
