Re: “Media Watch

Scott Kilbury, whose ratings are an all-time high for KOLD, was forced to leave KOLD today over personal, petty reasons (vendetta) by Station Mgr. and News director who wanted to "teach him a lesson", yet the on-air weather golden-boy with personal (drug & alcohol while on the air) issues (who is on paid personal once again leave for the fifth time) is untouchable. KOLD you lost this loyal viewer of 10 years for these antics.

Re: “Nearly Excellent Neapolitan

We had dinner there last night. We had the Caesar salad with more of a vinaigrette than a traditional caesar dressing. Nice portion for $9. My wife and split the cura, which was very sparsely populated with soppressata and a few calamata olives. The salad took about 20 minutes to come out and then the pizza followed 10 minutes later. Pizza from a wood burning oven should come out bubbling hot and this was not. It was hot but clearly it sat on the counter for a good five minutes before it came out. Wood fired pizza should be crunchy on the bottom, but this was a bit floppy. They mention on the menu "We request no substitutions, but let us know if we can do something for you". Well... it seems to me if they really wanted to do something for me, they would allow substitutions...As mentioned in the review, beer selection was very small. Not a bad meal, just somewhere marginally above average. Service was slow, but pleasant.

Re: “Soulless Superman

To the folk taking a pop at the reviewer and others: GROW THE HELL UP AND STOP ACTING LIKE SELF ENTITLED PUNKS!!

I swear this groupthink mentality's laughable as it is disturbing and it gets worse ever year. You're only confirming the fact that you lot are the lowest common denominator who truly enjoy making asses out of themselves online. Instead of a polite "I respectfully disagree" and move on, you shout down anyone who doesn't have the same views as you like rabid dogs who're in need of euthanasia.

So what if 100 odd film critics and some viewers voice their bemusement regarding Man Of Steel. They're no more entitled to their opinion than you are regardless of how much money it made opening weekend and being at the No. 1 spot. IT'S NOT THAT FRIGGING SERIOUS!!!

You make those Kardashian stans (Super Fans, FYI) look like saints...and to be blunt, it really doesn't say much.

Re: “Billy Templeton and Freestyle

Yeah and when you have arrogant very testy non-talented keyboard players that try to insult real talent all over Tucson this is response you get -Chuck Aubrey was fired almost immediately after this gig and it was the second time due to his unprofessional skills and arrogance on and off stage! Billy had a very serious hand cramp on this gig and chuck was doing what he could behind the scenes to cause damage-Chuck needs to be placed on a blacklist for all musicians as he is all mouth and very cowardly-does not hold any gigs down -never books his own gigs and recently started very inflammatory statements due to the fact he was fired and also according to Tommy and Mike Behan his old bandmates got very upset because Billy Templeton makes more money than he can get anywhere in Tucson -Iwas there Chucky and saw and knew exactly what happened -everyone had a blast and you cannot stand the attention Billy receives -too bad!! grow up Billy and his band have performed for hundreds of gigs in Tucson and are amazing talents to watch and listen to!!!

Re: “Boehner: Immigration Bill Will Require Support of GOP House Majority

THE HOUSE WILL NEVER PASS THE SOILED IMMIGRATION REFORM BILL, WITHOUT THE MAJOR TRIGGERS TO BUILD THE REAL FENCE AND A TRACKING SYSTEM FOR VISITORS AT EXIT AND ENTRY PORTS?

According to Glenn Spencer, president of the non-governmental border watch group called American Border Patrol based in Hereford, the U.S. government has constructed hundreds of miles of fencing along the southern border, including all types of barriers and walls. Along the U.S.-Mexico border, there are 355 miles of fencing, including eight miles of chain link, 200 miles of mesh/post, 72 miles of (old) mat, and 75 miles of steel beams. The total length of the U.S.-Mexico border is about 1,900 miles. "These estimates of fencing are based on aerial surveys basically completed in late 2009 and updated in 2011 for the area from El Paso to San Diego by aerial survey and El Paso to Brownsville using satellite images from Google," The Secure Fence Act of 2006 called for 700 miles of double-layered fencing. However, the Department of Homeland Security built only 283 miles of fence. And, only 34 miles were double-layered, in all. This is obviously why we ended up from the last Amnesty, financially supporting 11 million plus?

Cable news C-Span showed the floor of the Senate and two amendments. 1. Senator Thune to build the 350 miles of fencing, before illegal aliens could gain legitimate status failed to pass. 2. An amendment for an EXIT AND ENTRY program at airports and other ports of entry and exit to track visitors failed also to pass. We must recognize there are very wealthy special interests at work and if Senators want their favors approve, junket travel for families, campaign contributions and shall we say concealed monetary benefits, the people demands are ignored. But if Americans stand together we can reach out and stop this travesty of a Senate bill—it corrupt and must not reach the house. Even so it will not reach the floor of the House, without a vote.

New York Senator Chuck Schumer thinks "Illegal immigration will be a thing of the past!" His bill is going to solve it all? Well, But the People have got news for these elderly politicians: No, it's not. By dismissing the majority of the major TRIGGERS, S.477 is far worse than law signed into action 27 years ago. IF YOU READ THIS NEW SENATE LAW THERE IS NO SEVERE ENFORCEMENT AT THE BORDER, ILLEGAL ALIEN FAMILIES WILL STILL BE ABLE TO SUPPLEMENT THEIR INCOME WITH QUASI CITIZENSHIP CHILD PAYMENTS AND WELFARE. WITHOUT THE DOUBLE LAYER FENCE TOPPED WITH RAZOR WIRE, THE DRUGS WILL STILL COME AND THE SAME HUGE ONSLAUGHT OF ILLEGAL ALIENS WILL POUR THROUGH NON-EXISTENT AREAS WITHOUT FENCING. THE ICE UNION HAS NO CONFIDENCE IN THEIR SUPERVISORS, BECAUSE HS SECRETARY JANET NAPOLITANO HAS ORDERED THEM NOT TO DETAIN ILLEGAL ALIENS.

Re: “Boehner: Immigration Bill Will Require Support of GOP House Majority

More immigrants mean more of a population growth. More people mean higher prices and lower wages and competition for low wage earners? Hispanics, and other legal immigrants who have the legal right to be in this country will be jeopardized by opening the borders, more visas, guest workers to lower wage workers as will be newer generations of blacks, Caucasians, Asians and other nationalities. . There have too many irregularities within the 50 states, especially those manned by the Democrats. They don’t seem to care who votes and one only has to check GOOGLE or any search box for VOTER FRAUD, and you will be surprised how many violations are slowly shuffling through the courts system. Non-citizens are voting in our elections and this administration refuses to recognize it.

California Senator Barbara Boxer is planning an amendment to the Senate's immigration bill (S.477) which would convey funds committed to border security to repay state and local governments only if health care applies to newly legalized immigrants. We were promised that any new illegal aliens, gaining legal status would be exempt from ALL welfare or any entitlements benefits if this Senate law passes. Folks we need to slam DC with a "NO AMNESTY FOR ILLEGALS! DOWN WITH THIS DE FACTO AMNESTY BILL!" Contact by phone Senators and the House Representatives, either State or Federal at toll-free -- 1-888-978-3094--or you may phone the United States Capitol switchboard at (202) 224-3121. A terminal operator will connect you directly with the Senate office or just about anybody in Washington you request to speak with.

Rep. Rep. Michele Bachmann is planning to stop a de-facto amnesty bill from slipping through the House of Representatives. She and other Conservative Legislators are imperative is stopping fellow Republicans and Minority Speaker of the House John Boehner of Ohio, in pledging as Speaker of the United States House of Representatives not to allow a vote reach the House floor unless a majority of the majority party supports the bill. “The Hastert Rule." As it is called?

Re: “Boehner: Immigration Bill Will Require Support of GOP House Majority

Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT) spoke up to today on behalf of young American people seeking work. His amendment was an argument young job seekers should come before any foreigners coming here on an entry level visa. Thousands of young people already cannot find a job, whether seasonal or on an annual basis. Americans pay taxes, whereas foreigners sneak through the IRS or state tax system and pay little or nothing.

A petition seeking to abolish the Internal Revenue Service recently started by the American Center for Law and Justice http://aclj.org/us-constitution/abolish-th… has gained over 66,000 plus signatures, (just changed to 68.000 in minutes) in just a few days and gaining momentum. Even law group are denouncing the government agency for being "out of control." As did the ACLJ according to a Liberal CNN poll released Monday. WAIT TELL THE WORD GETS OUT NATIONWIDE? Every American of political parties, race or religion should join this fight against this monolithic agency that is supposed to be free from politics, and remain nonaligned. However it especially benefits Special interests, assuredly politicians and the wealthy, which the time has come to shut it down and introduce a fair tax. President Barack Obama's approval rating dropped eight points from last month, owing to scandals within the IRS, AP newspaper and the growing controversy of spying on Conservative groups, the TEA PARTY and church and religious organizations.

REMEMBER THESE INCOMPETENT FOOLS IN THE NEXT PRIMARIES AND DON’T REELECT THEM?

For one, these don't look like awesome licensed characters.

For another, these require an initial investment of $100 for a pair.

So, as Rand Carlson might write, they're the same, but different.
