Great report, most of the gun enthuses in this country won't believe this report.
Thanks for setting the record straight.
Juan Mendez and Jamescita Peshlakai are wonderful bright lights in the dark and dismal Arizona House of Representatives.
Bible thumper Steve Smith exhibits his lack of intelligence in such an offensive act. Blindly following a superstition, like S.Smith did, ... and SIXTY joined him!!! ... demonstrates just how addled the minds of a large number of the member of this political body are.
Of course, this is the same group that considered a bill one of those sixty introduced that would have made passages from the christian bible legal defense in court against prosecution of crimes. You know those passages, don't you .... the verses that say it's okay to sell your daughter into slavery, and kill your child for disobedience and so on, ad nausea.
Turn all states "Green" This country is missing out on billions of dollars by not growing hemp and marijuana crops. Jobs, jobs, jobs. Congress needs to get their heads out of their asses. This would create hundreds of thousands of jobs.
Lets stop wasting everybodies time and just give the trophy to Ryan. Nobody can come near his talent level!
Great stuff!
"No excuse for the lack of service, attention to detais, or making a BAD sandwhich. What the heck are they thinking? Do they every try their own food?"
1) "details"
2) "sandwich"
3) "even"
Hilarious take on the Maxim Hottest.
Where I agree with almost everything you said in that part of your article, most of all how annoying Jack Bauer's daughter was.. I still have to say she is smoking hot.
In any event, when I saw this year's "Hot" top ten, I could not help but think to myself the people that picked it were not of voting age.
Exactly, one of the best softball coaches in the country and some alleged sports writer who has nothing better to do is ready to throw the guy under the bus! What non-sense.
I'm glad you featured this man's highly regarded career.
Funny cause they don't even live here.
To counter that, isn't Rosemont trying to gain a profit as well?
I had the EXACT same experience when the restaurant opened. I have not been back. I wrote the owner a personal letter. I am sad to hear that little improvment has been made. This is a great location, my office is close by. No excuse for the lack of service, attention to detais, or making a BAD sandwhich. What the heck are they thinking? Do they every try their own food?
@jbuchman - have you tried Yamato at 1st and Grant for sushi? The sushi chef is from Nagano and he makes everything in-house. I have yet to be disappointed by his sushi.
Also, Com Tam Thuan Kieu adjacent to Lee Lee Oriental Market is great for Vietnamese - IF you stay away from pho (but, then again, they are a com tam place).
No wonder this state is in the doldrums...
Sad to say but your overall disappointment with this particular establishment resonates with most of our dining experiences (I would say 8 out of 10) since moving to Tucson over a year ago. When we have pleasant surprises we share via online reviews. Sad for us is what appears as a lack of authentic ethnic cuisine (we have found 2-3) and then such an over abundance of standard or sub standard pub food. Do people really enjoy these china buffet places? And I've given up on authentic sushi? I haven't had any in Tucson yet that doesn't fall apart, crumble. Just very sad.
Riorican: My mistake and now corrected.
To Norm Meader, are you kidding? We go to Phoenix to breathe GLBT air because for all intents and purposes - for us, a committed, married, middle aged, church going gay couple - GLBT is non-existent in Tucson. If people in the GLBT community are slapping themselves on the back for how GLBT friendly Tucson is, then we really do have a major problem.
Radio is good, other than political talk radio. TV? Not so much. I watched Mad Men once, and didn't see justification for "greatest drama ever" hype. The guy worried about what suit to wear, and his secretary about her status at the office. Really? I remember the British series The Prisoner. Originality these days is more about office politics or special effects. Zombies and vampires. Give me a great radio play, or an audiobook. Audio is always better for you than video because you exercise your imagination. TV is driven by ratings, and Coke ads. They don't care so much about quirky stuff like you mention. They're shooting for the mass audience, a demographic that includes NASCAR fans who munch on pork rinds while drinking Pepsi and call it paradise. --JL editor, Tower Review
