Re: “Police Dispatch

A 37-year-old man living in his mom's trailer - you could've stopped right there.

Re: “Police Dispatch

His first cry for help was walking around wearing only swimming trunks. His second cry for help was stealing a beer, but his SCREAM for help was taking a Budweiser!

Re: “Police Dispatch

Sounds like the victim needs to make his housemate an X-housemate.

Re: “Police Dispatch

A homeless man learned the lesson "Don't steal where you live"??

Are you saying to steal somewhere else, or is this a joke?

Re: “Police Dispatch

Why aren't names/arrest photos of the arrested included in these articles? I think it should be public record and I would like to know who to be aware of.

Grab and run in the City of Tucson is not illegal. And, special rewards if you are here illegally.

Re: “Police Dispatch

You’re confusing mental illness with poor social skills, racial bigotry, misogyny and inappropriate behavior, you know – an asshole.

Re: “Police Dispatch

Let's see.... You do a beautiful article on Wendy and her mental illness and this article demeans someone who likely has mental illness. Which way do you want to have it? Can't have it both ways, Weekly.

Re: “Police Dispatch

I used that "Do you want to......" line a few times at he old Maverick and the Bum Steer back in the '70's, (when Tucson was really a fun town) It worked a couple of times with really not that many tries. Tucson is still a fun town sometimes.

Re: “Police Dispatch

We are applalled at the appearance and the manner in which this story was presented. Other than for reader entertainment why publish such an explication when one can reduce this story to a discription of someone who is screaming to the world ' please I need help, I am in pain.' It is neither humorous nor muckraking especially in the light of any useful suggestions on the writer's part.

Re: “Police Dispatch

I thought she sounded like she needed emotional and psychological help rather than public humiliation and arrest as well. The thing is, I don't know that the mental health system is a whole lot better than jail. (Remember the suicides at Sierra Tucson?) Well, anyway, I hope she has a peaceful and healthy future and wish her well.
