B-Sides: Hank Williams

COFFEE TONK

Tucson's very own celebration of country and western's glory days is back at Exo Roast Co. (403 N. Sixth Ave.), and this time the Old Pueblo Opry, as it's called, is celebrating the work of Hank Williams. That's right, you can hear all of your favorite Williams classics re-interpreted by Hank Topless, Hans Hutchison and Karima Walker. Even if you're all alone on Valentine's Day, you can be so lonesome you could cry and sing the love sick blues alongside likeminded Williams fans.

Best of all, the Old Pueblo Opry's presentation of the songs of Hank Williams, hosted by Lisa O'Neill, is totally free to attend, which will give you plenty to spend on macaroons and the day's special coffee drink: the Hankortado. The show kicks off at 11:30 a.m. and runs until 1 p.m. on Saturday, Feb, 13. It is an all ages event.
