Film Fatales at the Loft

Celebrate and support female filmmakers at the Film Fatales Shorts event at The Loft Cinema (3233 E. Speedway Blvd.) at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, April 30. The event will feature a collection of new short films by female directors from the Film Fatales organization and talks with Tucson filmmakers Brooke Sebold and Lisanne Skyler. The screening will be followed by a discussion about the Film Fatales project and the role of women filmmakers in today's movie industry. Less than 5 percent of the top box office films are directed by women. Film Fatales provides women directors with a community of support, a platform for sharing resources, and opportunities to help get their films made and seen. Regular admission apply.
