Urban Assault Ride

The New Belgium Urban Assault Ride takes place at 9 a.m., Sunday, March 20, and covers about 25 miles. Riders may improve their starting position by scoring well on a quiz they take when they register. Prizes are awarded to the first team to complete the circuit, which includes a scavenger hunt and several stops for off-beat obstacle courses at local parks, stores, bars and businesses. Participants choose their own routes and checkpoint order strategies. An after-party concludes the event. $90 per two-member team for registration by Monday, March 14, at urbanassaultride.com. $120 per team registration March 14 to Friday, March 18, the last day to register. Add $10 for VIP packet pickup the day of the race. Regular packet pickup is from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, March 19, at Hotel Congress (311 E. Congress St.).
