It does seem fitting that the best swimming hole in town is in one of the most fancy of our Parks and Recreation facilities. You certainly should be able to spot a few Million Dollar Mermaids, especially during one of their summer synchronized swimming classes. This is a swimming pool that offers instruction, which makes it particularly useful and popular. Deep or shallow water aerobics or swimming for strong backs are therapeutic. For anyone who has watched Jaws one too many times, there is a "Swimming for the Terrified" session. This is actually a terrific opportunity for those who never learned to swim. Just plain swimming is also available.
