Tucson should be proud of this friendly, hip national chain, which got its start right here in the Old Pueblo. We were greeted by two different employees as we walked in on a recent visit to the university area-store, where wise students were scouring the racks for trendy vintage bargains. Our finds included a "fuck racism" T-shirt, which depicted a white stick figure and a black stick figure in coitus ($8.50); we could combine that with a pair of nicely worn-in Levi's ($17) and an almost-new-looking pair of Nikes ($25) to create a fun, if somewhat profane, outfit. Fun fact: Did you know that Buffalo Exchange is affiliated with the Cat Mountain Station out on Kinney Road? Now you do!
