ARIZONA REPERTORY THEATRE. UA Fine Arts Complex, southeast corner of Speedway and Park Avenue. Opening January 31 and continuing through February 11: Judevine, a dramatic poem about everyday survival in rural Vermont. Preview performances run January 28 and 29 for $5. Opening January 31 and continuing through February 17: Fifth of July, one in a cycle of Lanford Wilson's plays about the Talley family, in which an unlikely host of characters must come to terms with the endless possibilities that real commitment can bring. RED HOUSE THEATER PROJECT. Temple of Music and Art Cabaret Theatre. 330 S. Scott Ave. 884-4875. Opening January 26 and continuing January 27, February 2 and 3: The Timekeeper, written by local playwright Rich Amada. Suppose that all timepieces on earth were tuned in to and synchronized with one great, universal clock. When the cosmic chronometer that keeps the world on time strikes one, more than the mouse runs down as the high priests of "The Timekeeper" scramble to maintain order. THE SWEATLODGE. Southwest Center for Music. 2175 N. Sixth Ave. 884-1220. The Sweatlodge boys return with a brand new look at life in the Old Pueblo at 8 p.m. Thursday, January 25. Pianist Pamela Ross shares loving memories of a father who instilled in her a delicious sense of comedy and a love for music. Program includes selections by Gershwin, Soundheim, Chopin, Zez Confrey, boogie woogie and Rachmaninoff. A seminar follows the January 25 performance. AUDITION NOTICE. Local auditions for the musical production of Texas, scheduled to open in Canyon, Texas, on June 12, will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, January 28, in the UA Music Building, Room 170. There are 140 paid positions available. Actors, dancers, singers, technical and hospitality staff are needed. Must be 18 years old. Dancers must register between 10 and 10:30 a.m., with group auditions at 10:30 a.m. All others must register between 10:30 and 11:15 a.m. Individual auditions follow dance auditions.
