SARAH LOWE SPEAKS. Sarah Lowe, independent curator, art historian and author, presents Frida Kahlo's Diaries at 7 p.m. Thursday, January 25, in the UA College of Architecture auditorium, located at the south end of the pedestrian underpass on Speedway east of Park Avenue. Lowe will address the Mexican artist's construction of identity in her personal diaries, which have recently been reprinted. Lowe also lectures on The Career of Tina Modotti at 3:30 p.m. Friday, January 26, at the Center for Creative Photography on the UA campus. Admission to both lectures is free. ART LECTURE. Ceramic artist Catherine Hiersoux presents a lecture on ceramic sculpture at 7 p.m. Thursday, January 25, at Randolph Park Photography Lab, 200 S. Alvernon Way.
