Throughout the month of January, the 20th annual Simon Peter Passion Play of Tucson will hold auditions for the 1998 cast of this three-hour musical/drama based on the life of Christ. Performances are scheduled for Easter at the TCC Music Hall. Men, women and children of all ages are needed (especially men), and no experience is necessary. PLAY MARATHON. Third Street Kids, a performing arts company designed to provide education, training and experience in the arts to children, seeks scripts for their One-Act Play Marathon April 20 through April 26. Plays are to be 40 to 60 minutes long, and will be presented by a wide variety of organizations including professional, semi-professional and high-school drama clubs. There is a $50 entry fee for all scripts; fee is refundable if script is not accepted. Third Street Kids also seeks theatre professionals to sit on an ad hoc committee to read scripts.
