STAFF PICK: The Arizona Board of Regents has been openly discussing such issues as doing away with affirmative action programs and otherwise hamstringing our already weak higher-education system, revealing its members to be just what they, for the most part, are: rich rednecks appointed by the governor for political favors. What's best about this? Now maybe a few more legislators will leave their anti-intellectualism behind and consider abolishing the self-righteous group that is dismantling what once might have been a decent university system.
