ART WALK UPDATE. Docent-guided Art Walk tours of the Arts District and downtown galleries are taking a summer vacation until the fall. Self-guided tours may continue, but it is suggested to call ahead and confirm gallery summer hours. Call the Tucson Arts District Partnership at 624-9977 for a brochure of downtown galleries and information.

CALL TO ARTISTS. The Tucson/Pima Arts Council seeks proposals for four site walls along Broadway in downtown Tucson. Artists may apply for one or more walls, and may apply individually or as teams. The four walls have large, unrusticated surfaces. Any durable, safe medium, two- or three-dimensional, is acceptable. Proposed works may project beyond the reveal as long as it does not interfere with traffic safety. Submission deadline is Tuesday, October 7. Artists are encouraged to attend the pre-submission meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday, September 9, at the Tucson/Pima Arts Council, 240 N.
