AFRICAN AMERICAN STUDENT AFFAIRS. The African American Cultural Resource Center holds its 16th annual open house from noon until 2 p.m. Friday, August 28, in the Martin Luther King Building, 1322 E. PRE-LABOR DAY DANCE. The Black Women's Task Force of Tucson sponsors a Pre-Labor Day dance from

RELIGION IN FILM SERIES. St. Philip's In the Hills Episcopal Church. 4440 N. Campbell Ave. Tacheria, a multi-faith center for spirituality, presents a series of films with post-screening discussions on ethics and spirituality. TUCSON RUGBY CIGAR SMOKER. Join Pancho and the Tucson Magpies Rugby Club at 7 p.m. Friday, August 28, for an evening in support of the American Red Cross, Southern Arizona Chapter. Evening features cocktails, hors d'oeuvres, cigars, tequila tasting, and a raffle, all at El Charro downtown. Tickets are $50 per person ($20 tax deductible).
