On August 14 Carmen Villa Prezelski, member of the U.S.-Mexico Educational Interchange Project, lectures on Barrio Millville: A Memoir from the Recent Past. PROFESSIONAL WOMEN'S CONFERENCE. The third annual Arizona/Sonora Professional Women's Conference, entitled Building Partnerships, will be September 19 through 21, 1996, at the PCC West Campus, 2202 W. Anklam Road. The conference aims to promote partnerships and new intercultural networking relationships to facilitate business, educational and health opportunities. Ann Symington, wife of Arizona Governor Fife Symington, will officially open the conference. Cost is $70, $40 for Mexican participants. WOMEN ON THE MOVE. The YWCA presents the eighth annual Women's Leadership Conference from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, October 4, 1996, at the Westin La Paloma. Keynote speakers are author Debra Benton, attorney Sarah Weddington and Sheila Wellington, president of Catalyst, the premier national non-profit research and advisory organization on women's private sector leadership.
