DESERT BLUEGRASS JAM. The Desert Bluegrass Association hosts a jam at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 16, at the Rincon Market, 2513 E. Sixth St. Play, sing along or just listen. All are welcome.

JAZZ AT THE INSTITUTE. Mat Bevel Institute. 530 N. Stone Ave. Zeitgeist presents the Tom Guralnick Trio at 8 p.m. on Thursday, June 10. Tickets are $10, $8 in advance and available at CD Depot and Antigone Books.

MONSOON MADNESS. This weekly outdoor music showcase continues its fourth season on Thursday, June 10, with Decades and Groove Box. The bands get under way at 7 p.m. at Winsett Park, 316 N. Fourth Ave.

PERCUSSION CONCERT. Tucson Symphony Center. 2175 N. Sixth Ave. The Tucson Institute of Percussion presents their World of Percussion Spring Concert at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 15. Tickets are $3 at the door.

PIANO CONCERT. Our Saviour's Lutheran Church. 1949 E. Helen St. 327-6521. Pianist Robyn Wells performs at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, June 11.

SUMMERSET SUITE CONCERT SERIES. St. Philip's Plaza. Campbell Ave. and River Road. The Tucson Jazz Society continues this year's concert series with the Mark Elf Trio from 8 to 11 p.m. on Saturday, June 12. WIND CONCERT. Udall Park Amphitheater. 7200 E. Tanque Verde Road. The Arizona Symphonic Winds featuring saxophonist Michael Hester present a free outdoor concert at 7 p.m. on Saturday, June 12.

STRING PLAYERS WANTED. The Civic Orchestra of Tucson, a 60-piece volunteer symphony orchestra starting its 24th season, needs violin, viola, cello, and especially bass players.
