Listings BLACKFIRE BENEFIT. UA Cellar, located in the Student Union. Native American alternative band Blackfire performs Saturday, January 24. This alternative rock trio will be joined by Spirit Union Revival and Cledd's Castle and their zany puppet variety show. Concert begins at 8:30 p.m. Tickets are $5. Proceeds will benefit the Tucson Big Mountain Support Group and their efforts to help Diné families who are being forced from their homes. Call 1-888-299-2259 for information.

POETRY & MUSIC. PCC Recital Hall. 2202 W. Anklam Road. The POG poetry group presents an evening of music and poetry at 7 p.m. Saturday, January 24. This free event will feature a musical presentation by local musician and teacher Larry Solomon, and poetry by Mei-Mei Berssenbrugge. Call 620-1626 for informaiton.

RENAISSANCE ROCK. Joseph Gross Gallery. UA campus on the southeast corner of Park Avenue and Speedway. Patrick Neher, double bassist; Suzanne Knosp, harpsichord; Michael Harding, guitar; and Christina Jarvis, soprano perform at 2 p.m. Sunday, January 25. SUNDAY JAZZ JAMS. Cottonwood Café. 60 N. Alvernon Way. The Tucson Jazz Society presents the revival of the Sunday Jazz Jams. On January 25, see the Marshall Jones Group.
