Earlier today, Rep. Raul Grijalva spoke with MSNBC regarding the Border Security, Economic Opportunit, and Immigration Modernization Act of 2013, which is set to deal with immigration and border security issues. Senate Republicans are currently trying to add an amendment to the bill which would increase the focus on border security.

Grijalva’s opinion? He doesn’t want to see immigration reform suffer because of “unreasonable requests” made by the G.O.P.:

  1. All due respect Congressman Grijalva, we do need “immigration reform”, we need our elected officials (you sir included) to grow a set of balls and enforce the laws already on the books. This nations immigration laws are adequate as long as they are enforced. As long as balless wonders continue to refuse to enforce those laws simply to pander for votes is appalling. Those that support this fraud, are also guilty of failing to uphold their oaths (again, including you sir) of office to enforce the laws of this nation, and defend the Constitution of these United States. Those that support this bullshit need to be removed from office. So tell me Congressman Grijalva, whom do you serve, the American people, or Mexico?

  2. No enforcement, Mr. Markus?

    Really?

Been almost 2 year since I’ve met a single migrant in the river valley below my home, which is 14 miles north of the border.

    Used to meet dozens.

  3. If you keep stealing their resources and destroying their local economies and societies for short term USAmerican corporate profits, even if you build a 10 foot fence, folks will build 11 foot ladders, dummies!
