First Congregational Church, University and Second Street. The Tucson Friends of Traditional Music host a contra dance the first Saturday of each month. Basic lessons are 7 to 7:45 p.m., with intermediate-level lessons from 7:45 to 8:30 p.m. Open dancing continues from 8:30 to 9:30 p.m. every Thursday.
