Listings EAST-WEST FUSION. UA Gittings Dance Theatre. Choreographer and dancer Tzu-Hua Chen performs a recital integrating traditional Chinese dance with modern western dance and choreography at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday, April 10 and 11. MISA FLAMENCA. Centennial Hall. 1020 E. University Blvd. As part of the UA Arte Latino Americano series, Paco Peña performs Misa Flamenca, a kaleidoscopic fusion of flamenca and sacred ritual, at 8 p.m. Saturday, April 11. ORTS LENTEN PERFORMANCE. St. Mark's Presbyterian Church. 3809 E. Third St. As part of a Lenten worship service entitled In Memory of Her, the Orts Dance Company performs a dance in three acts accompanied by violin, piano and liturgical poetry at 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 9. AFRICAN DANCE. Learn the movements of dance from Guinea, Senegal, Nigeria and Afro-Brazilian and Cuban regions with teacher Denise Hawthorne Bey. You'll also learn the intricacies of the music, and the traditional songs and their meanings. Classes meet at 7 p.m. Wednesdays. AUDITION NOTICE. The Isis Dance Theater Company is holding auditions for intermediate to advanced ballet, jazz and/or modern dancers over age 30 for forthcoming fall and spring productions. The company is also looking for actors and singers over age 30 for an original, one-act musical production. Auditions are by appointment only, and will continue until all positions are filled.
