PADDY NOONAN. Palo Verde High School Auditorium. 1302 S. Avenida Vega. Irish accordionist Paddy Noonan takes the stage with his accomplished band and acclaimed Irish comedian Ginnity for A Musical Taste of Ireland, a benefit at 8 p.m. Friday, February 13. THE REGIMENTAL BAND. This 1880s-style brass band dons its historic apparel from Old Fort Lowell in a free performance at 1 p.m. Saturday, February 14, in Fort Lowell Park, Craycroft and Fort Lowell roads.

TIBETAN MUSIC AND DANCE. UA Social Sciences Auditorium, on the UA campus. The Lamas of Ganden Jangtse Monastery in India perform Joyful Wisdom, an evening of traditional dance, multi-tonal chanting and folk dramas at 7:30 p.m. Friday, February 13. SLONAKER SERIES. Slonaker House, UA campus on Second Street, east of Park Avenue. UA music students offer free, brown-bag performances from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Fridays, February 13 and 27. Performances continue throughout the spring. For more information, call 626-7183.

SUNDAY JAZZ JAMS. Cottonwood Café. 60 N. Alvernon Way. The Tucson Jazz Society presents the revival of the Sunday Jazz Jam. Cass Preston and the Individuals perform on February 15. DESERT BLUEGRASS JAM. The Desert Bluegrass Association holds its monthly jam at 4 p.m. Sunday, February 15, at the Texas T-Bone Restaurant, 8981 E. Tanque Verde Road. Play, sing along, or just listen. All are welcome.

FOOTHILLS PHIL. Catalina Foothills high School Band Room. 4300 E. Sunrise Drive. The Foothills Phil, a community, intergenerational orchestra conducted by Laszlo Veres, wants you! Musicians of all ages and abilities are invited to join and share their love of music. Registration fee is $30. Call Judi Botwin at 577-5304 for information.

FOOTHILLS WOMEN'S CHORUS. A group of women who love to sing, no auditions required. Group meets from 7 to 9 p.m. Mondays in the Dove of Peace Lutheran Church, 665 W. Roller Coaster Road.
