Listings DANCES FROM THE HEART. Temple of Music and Art. 330 S. Scott Ave. The UA School of Music and Dance presents this black-tie affair, featuring a concert by the UA's acclaimed Dance Division: "Pure Arches," a pas de deux featuring Cesar Rubio and Deborah Kenner; "Berstein's Reply," choreographed by Amy Ernst for a 14-member ensemble; and "The Kissing Waltz," Nina Janik's humorous look at romance, danced to live piano music by Suzanne Knosp. Options for dinner, dessert and champagne, and dancing to a live orchestra are offered as part of the evening festivities starting at 8 p.m. Saturday, February 14. VIVA ARIZONA! UA Centennial Hall. 1020 University Blvd., east of Park Avenue. One performance only, at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, February 18: Ballet Folklorico Arizona and Tucson's Mariachi Aztlán de Pueblo chronicle 400 years of history in a celebration of Mexican, Spanish, Native and Western American song and dance. AFRICAN DANCE. 121 E. Seventh St. Learn the movements of dance from Guinea, Senegal, Nigeria and Afro-Brazilian and Cuban regions with teacher Denise Hawthorne Bey. You'll also learn the intricacies of the music, and the traditional songs and their meanings. Classes meet at 7 p.m. Wednesdays. BALLROOM DANCING. Dance to live music from 8 to 11 p.m. Wednesdays at Let's Dance Club, 6245 E. Bellevue. Singles and couples of all skill levels are welcome. SINGLES DANCE PARTY. Dance to the tunes of the '60s through '90s--rock, swing, disco and country--every Sunday at Gotham in the New West, 4385 W. Ina Road. A free buffet is offered until 8 p.m., with coffee and cake on the tables till 11 p.m. Singles Unlimited hosts this weekly affair, with a special admission of only $6 for newcomers.
