STAFF PICK: Bud Foster, at KOLD-- Channel 13, knows that the "news" game is a crock, that there's no substance, that he makes a living saying things like, "Pigs are happiest when they're in mud, and researchers now find that mud makes us more like pigs." He does all of this with a straight face, but with a hint of absurdity that makes it all seem right. Bud tosses his "Turbo-Shatner 3000" toupee onto his coat rack when he gets home, looks at his enormous head, and realizes that the real world is much better than "TV news."
