Best Club For Dancing

Club Congress
311 E. Congress St.

READERS' AND STAFF PICK: Want to flaunt your bounce and boing? The place to go is the world-famous Club Congress. The club's dancer-friendly weekly schedule provides an array of rhythmic stimulation for the dancer in everyone. Whether you're a disco super-freak or want to boogie to some Superfunk, the Club's electric atmosphere will make your toes tingle. Of course the grooviest, most super-cool night to move it across the floor is the ultra-popular '80s Night. Then you'll catch just about everyone workin' it to classic '80s faves--you know, all those tasty and cheesy tunes that make us wanna move. The Club's busy dance floor will also please your non-dancing partner. The purple hair, tight black clothing and fishnet tights are pure viewing satisfaction for anyone on the sidelines. Hell, you may even see an extraterrestrial, according to some of our sources. The Congo will surely give anyone who is longing for that big-city club feel the perfect shot of inner-city groove. It's Tucson's own little macabre version of American Bandstand, which is exactly what the Dry Pueblo needs!
