APACHE HISTORY. Arizona Historical Society. 949 E. Second St. The Arizona Historical Society presents a lecture series entitled Beyond Geronimo: Apache History and Culture. The series concludes on November 19 with "Eskiminzen: Leader of the Aravaipa Apache People," with Jeanie Marion, historian, and Chesley Goseyun Wilson, storyteller and musician. HISTORY AND HEALTH. The Arizona State Genealogical Society presents a Family History Health Seminar from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday, November 15, at the Plaza Hotel Conference Center. Sara Richter Cox, M.S., Paul Duffey, M.D. and Barbara Salyer, C.G., will help in coordinating a chart of your ancestors' health histories so that you and your descendants may be aware of potential health problems. THE MUSICIAN'S HAND. UA Music Building Room 162, on the southeast corner of Park Avenue and Speedway. Frank Wilson, medical director of the California School of Music at San Francisco, presents The Musician's Hand from 2 to 4 p.m. Friday, November 14. In this free lecture, Wilson will present his latest research in working with musicians and performing artists, regarding the ailments connected with repetitive motion, over- and misuse associated with musical performance (and computer keyboard users as well). On Monday, November 17, join E. Charles Adams for a summary of his recent archaeological research at Homol'ovi I and Homol'ovi II, near Winslow. WOMEN BUILD HOUSES. Be informed, independent and environmentally friendly with help from Women Build Houses, a non-profit network dedicated to increasing women's access to building skills. They offer a host of sliding-scale classes, including greywater irrigation (household drainwater from sinks and showers), straw bale technology, eco-friendly household chemicals and cleaners, and passive solar design. Childcare is available. Learn to create beautiful, non-toxic finishes over adobe and straw bale at Natural Earth Plasters, Clay Paints and Other Finishes a two-day workshop, Saturday and Sunday, November 15 and 16.
