Listings LE BALLET NATIONAL DU SENEGAL. UA Centennial Hall. 1020 E. University Blvd. Internationally renowned African dance company Le Ballet National du Senegal performs the full-length work Pangols at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, October 1. "Pangols" is a West African word referring to the spiritual nature of all beings and things. Dancer and choreographer Barbea Williams offers a discussion of West African culture and dance from 6:45 to 7:15 p.m., in Room 102 of the Center for English as a Second Language (CESL) Building, north of Centennial Hall. MARK MORRIS DANCE GROUP. UA Centennial Hall. 1020 E. University Blvd. The Mark Morris Dance Group performs four recent dance works accompanied by live chamber music at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, October 7. Audience members can meet the artists after the performance in Centennial Hall. There's a free discussion of modern dance from 6:15 to 6:45 p.m. in Room 102 of the Center for English as a Second Language (CESL) Building.
