Listings BACH SOCIETY. St. Andrew's Episcopal Church. 545 S. Fifth Ave. The Saint Andrew's Bach Society presents the second concert of its 1998 Summer Concert Series at
3 p.m. Sunday, July 26. The performance features Desert Sands, a "bravura duo" with Sandy Schwoebel on flute, and Jeffri Sanders on piano and organ, performing works by Haydn, Fauré, Bach, and various contemporary composers. The Courtyard Concert Series features traditional, world-folk, Cajun and blues artists performing selected Saturdays though September. Frog Mountain opens for flatpicking sensation Peter McLaughlin, featuring bluegrass and '30s swing music from

BAND CLASSES. Desert Cove Christian Church. 6163 S. Midvale Road. Desert Cove School of Music offers band, orchestra, keyboard, guitar, voice and preschool music and movement classes for all ages. Cost ranges from $25 to $40 per month, in addition to enrollment and materials. Private instruction on piano, strings, guitar and band instruments is available. BLUEGRASS JAM. Desert Bluegrass Association hosts an open jam at 4:30 p.m. Saturday, July 25, at Pizza Hut, 2943 N. Campbell Ave. Players and listeners equally welcome.

WEST AFRICAN DRUM. Learn the rhythms of Guinea and Mali in a relaxed atmosphere. Beginning and intermediate classes are now forming. Hour-and-a-half classes meet once each week. FOOTHILLS WOMEN'S CHORUS. A group of women who love to sing, no auditions required, meets from 7 to 9 p.m. Mondays in the Dove of Peace Lutheran Church, 665 W. Roller Coaster Road.
