MARK O'CONNOR. Centennial Hall. 1020 E. University Blvd. Violin virtuoso Mark O'Connor performs a solo recital on violin, guitar and mandolin at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 19. ORGAN RECITAL. The Lutheran Church of the Ascension. 1220 W. Magee Road. Leonard Taffs performs an organ recital at 4 p.m. Sunday, May 17, in celebration of the church's new organ. The performance is free, though donations will be accepted. Call 293-0956 for information.

PETER AND THE WOLF. Temple of Music and Art. 330 S. Scott Ave. The Tucson Symphony Orchestra and the Southern Arizona Dance Theater present Peter and the Wolf. Performances are at 10 and 11:30 a.m. Saturday (the 11:30 a.m. performance is bilingual), and 2 and
3:30 p.m. Sunday, May 16 and 17. Tickets are $10, $5 for children. Advance tickets are available at the TSO box office. Call 882-8585 for tickets and information.

SPRING CHORALE CONCERT. Grace St. Paul Episcopal Church. 2331 E. Adams St. The Tucson Masterworks Chorale presents a spring concert featuring the works of 20th Century composers as well as works by Mozart, Faure, Tallis and Hassler. FOOTHILLS WOMEN'S CHORUS. A group of women who love to sing, no auditions required, meets from 7 to 9 p.m. Mondays in the Dove of Peace Lutheran Church, 665 W. Roller Coaster Road.
