MARSALIS/STRAVINSKI. Centennial Hall. 1020 E. University Blvd. Marsalis/Stravinski--a joint project of The Chamber Music Society at the Lincoln Center Artistic Director David Shifrin, and Jazz at the Lincoln Center Artistic Director Wynton Marsalis--includes a new reading of L'Histoire du Solda, narrated by André De Shields; and the premiere performance of "A Fiddler's Tale," a new work by Marsalis. Performance is 8 p.m. Friday, May 1. There's a pre-performance "Arts Encounters" discussion at 7:15 p.m. in Room 101 of the Douglass Building.
