SIDEWINDERS BASEBALL. The Tucson Sidewinders, the AAA affiliate of the Arizona Diamondbacks, wrap up a homestand against the Edmonton Trappers this week at Tucson Electric Park, 2500 E. Ajo Way. Thursday, April 29, is Thirsty Thursday, with beers and soft drinks for only $1 from the first pitch until 9 p.m. Tickets range from $3 to $8. On Friday, April 30, the Beach Boys will perform after the game, which begins at 7:30. Tickets are $15. The Sidewinders return home on Thursday, May 6. For more information call 434-1021.

ULTIMATE FRISBEE. The Tucson Ultimate Frisbee Club announces free, co-ed pick-up games at Himmel Park, starting about two hours before sunset every Sunday. They also organize leagues and tournaments throughout the year, and there's a club at the UA for students. All skill levels are welcome.
