BIODIVERSITY WALKS. The Southwest Center for Biological Diversity offers "biodiversity" walks at 9 a.m. the last Sunday of every month. Call Shane Jimerfield at 623-5252, ext. 302, for reservations and directions.

Listings DIG IT. Old Pueblo Archaeology Center, a nonprofit corporation, offers opportunities for you to dig with archaeologists at the Sabino Canyon Ruin starting at 9 a.m. on February 20. Experience the thrill of discovering buried pottery and other items left behind by prehistoric Arizonans, as the professionals show you how archaeologists excavate, interpret, and care for ancient finds. Reservations are required; fee includes tax-deductible donation to help fund the research. Archaeologist-guided tours of the ruin are also available. Call 798-1201 for information.

FISHING PROGRAM. The Arizona Game and Fish Department hosts on open public fishing program at Kennedy Lake from 1 to 5 p.m.. AZGF supplies 125 rods and reels as well as some bait and tackle. The program is open to all ages. Call 884-9394 for information.

ORIENTEERING MEETING. The Tucson Orienteering Club hosts this event starting at 9:30 a.m. on Sunday, February 21, in the Tucson Mountains just west of Tucson. There is a beginners clinic on how to use a map and a compass. Cost is $8, $10 for teams. Call 743-7052 for information.

SABINO CANYON VOLUNTEER NATURALISTS. Enjoy free weekly activities at Sabino Canyon, continuing through the month of April. Activities include guided nature walks and panning for sand rubies. Call 513-0231 for information.

TOHONO CHUL PARK. 7366 N. Paseo del Norte. 742-6455. Regular "Walk in the Park" tours, an overview of the park's 48 acres and its flora and fauna, are offered at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, and at 1 p.m. Sunday. "Art in the Park" tours, docent-guided looks at gallery exhibits, are at 11 a.m. Tuesday and Thursday and 2 p.m. Sunday. The park offers additional guided tours for your enjoyment. "Birds of Tohono Chul" provides opportunities to observe the many species frequenting the park, and meets at 8 a.m. Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. Grounds are open from 7 a.m. to sunset daily. Exhibit hours are 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. Greenhouse hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily. Admission is $2. WAREHOUSE DISTRICT WALKING TOURS. Walking tours of Tucson's Warehouse Historic District continue every second Saturday, through April 1999. Groups meet at 8:50 a.m. in the lobby of the Hotel Congress, 311 E. Congress St., with tours beginning at 9 a.m. and lasting approximately one-and-a-half hours. Hosted by an expert on the history of the area, these free tours cover a section of approximately one mile and include an overview of the area's history and brief visits to several artist's studios. Groups are limited to approximately 20. Participants should dress comfortably and plan to be outdoors for the majority of the tour. RSVP to 624-9977 by 5 p.m. on the Thursday prior to the tour date.
