I guess this 30 second clip from Lulu, the album by Lou Reed and Metallica coming out next week, is exactly what I was expecting (Lou talking over Metallica’s tired hard rock riffs), but that doesn’t make in any less disheartening.

Remember the Velvet Underground? Remember Master of Puppets? Yeah, those were cool.
