Waiting for something to come from the internet is one of those 21st century hardships that will never improve. Sometimes you’re lucky if your package comes in one piece or the homeless dude that sleeps by the art cooperative down the street doesn’t steal it. Some unfortunate schmuck in a rural area has the worst USPS deliver person in the world, and he or she has been documenting the careless drop offs.

Hard drives are usually packed very well, although that much jarring might still render one inoperable. Still, I think I’d take this guy over the USPS carrier that shoves everything into my mailbox, whether it fits or not. He seems especially fond of bending and folding items marked as, “Please Do Not Bend” and “Fragile”.
I would vote for Ace Ventura in the opening scene of the movie. He seemed less than careful.
What you have there is not a real USPS carrier. That person is a rural carrier. Those people are low bid subcontractors. The USPS auctions off rural routes to the lowest bidder. They don’t wear USPS uniforms, they get no benefits, they use their own cars for delivery and pay for their own gas. So, sometimes, you get stuck with tools like the guy in this video. Just call your local post office, complain, and they will fire the schmuck because low bid contractors are a dime a dozen with no work rights to speak of.
