Here’s something to add to “Taco trucks on every corner” and “Nasty Women” on social media. “Jan Brewer says, Hispanics don’t get out and vote.”

Everybody’s writing about Arizona right now, with Hillary looking like she’s edging past Donald in the polls. If Hillary takes Arizona, that means a lot more than a few electoral votes. It could mean a purpling, maybe even a bluing, of the state. And one big reason would be an assertion by a growing number of Hispanics of their power at the ballot box.

Former Governor Jan Brewer says she’s not worried.

Some Republicans dismissed the notion that Democratic-leaning Hispanics will become a significant enough force to tip the balance to Clinton.

“Nah,” former Arizona governor Jan Brewer said in an interview. “They don’t get out and vote.’’

  1. This neanderthal woman was elected by people who are either in their graves or are wearing their depends now. I mean look at her. She looks like someone from another planet; certainly from another century. Its hard to take someone from “yesteryear” very seriously except to say that what she represents and stands for is something that brings out the worst in human nature.I just isn she’d walk off the stage already. She had her moment! She wasted it.

  2. We better get ready for the nastiest ugliest most contentious four years in the history of America, if Hillary is elected after all the lies, fraud, deceit, and death she has caused.

We could soon see just how inept she is.

If Brewer said that she may be wrong. That’s why Ted Kennedy instituted the motor voter legislation. So we couldn’t check citizenship.

Trump may be right. Most elections are stolen. Bush stole the 2000 election from Gore. Rachel Maddow said that last night. She said Gore had more votes.

Are schools educating or indoctrinating? I am sure seeing some stupid college graduates tending bar and giving political advice on running the country.

  3. Arizona has only been a red State this long because of gerrymandering and because of all the snowbirds to stay here 6 months plus a week or two and end up voting in our elections so we end up with disgraceful Republicans like Evan Mecum Fife symington Jan Brewer and the mess that John McCain has become and now we’ve got our new idiot Governor ice cream who is doing his damnedest to make us look like some backward third-world shit hole. It’s about time Arizona went blue again

  4. Ahora vas a ver, bruja! I’ve voted in every election since I was 18 and my parents followed me as soon as their citizenship was completed. You are so wrong, and we will prove it.

  5. Comparing Jan Brewer to a Neanderthal is insulting to Neanderthals, especially since the latest anthropological studies indicate they had bigger brains than modern man. As for Jan’s age being indicative of her intelligence or relevance in the 21st Century, ignorance has no age restrictions. Of course, those of us who have seen more than a couple presidential elections have a better perspective on just how screwed up the 2016 race has become.

Nevertheless, thanks to that smaller brain size of “modern” man and a severe lack of critical thinking skills we may be seeing the next step in human evolution when a certain segment of the electorate – you know how you are – execute a full cranial rectal insertion inside the voting booth and choose a blond hair piece-wearing, knuckle-dragging, orangutan’s uncle for president – with apologies to orangutans everywhere.

  6. So are “snowbirds” “permanent residents”? If so are they voting by absentee in their home state and voting in Az? Because that would be voter fraud wouldn’t it?
    Just saying

  7. “Well, that was incoherent. At least What, Again keeps his ignorance short and bitter.”

Hey Peabo, you forgot to include stale and unoriginal.

I like him better when he’s following his doctors orders.

  8. This is the oddest thread of comments as far as how the likes and dislikes are represented. For the most part, everything is in order with logic; although there are 2 comments that defy that logic.
One of those comments mentions our winter residents; I will not refer to them as “snowbirds” because some of our part time residents really despise that term. I am not here to offend them, everyone should respect their elders. I am not sure of the reason why the dislikes currently triple the likes on this one, all I can guess about that is maybe most people feel that they are the reason as to why the asshats seems to dominate the government in this state. Who really knows? I sure don’t.
The other like/dislike ratio that REALLY blows my mind is one that belongs to the comment which has probably been repeated several hundred times by the ugliest troll that currently stains the comment section on the TW site. Of course, I am referring to the most infamous troll Wrong, Again. Unlike our winter visitors which are worthy of our respect, this slimy troll isn’t worthy of the chewing gum that connects the bottom of your shoe to the hot summer sidewalk. How does this comment currently hold 50 (last I checked) likes on a thread where everything else actually seems to be in a logical space?
    WTF?!
The universe must definitely be out of alignment. That’s just crazy! The only logical explanation for this is that Wrong, Again sent messages to all his Triple K brothers across the country and they checked in to give him the upticks which he is so undeserving of. If these guys have one thing going for them, it is that they do stick together; just as the gum I mentioned in the last paragraph. Believe me when I say that nobody really wants to be involved in either one of these sticky situations.

  9. I am so glad times are changing. I saw our first African American President and soon our first woman President. It’s time to stop voting for racist individuals. I for one am glad minority votes are the deciding factor to the recent elections. I bet all those racist red necks are getting scared. Imagine how it will be when their votes won’t even matter since they will be so outnumbered. Arizona will change too. Racist are old and dying out. Former Governor Jan Brewer should be worried. Her and McCain look almost dead anyway.

  10. Hey! Let’s make a wide spread release of the newest comment What, Again posted on the TW site on facebook to show that the “Make Arizona Mexico again” statement wasn’t actually a rally cry for Mexicans. It was actually a mix of sarcasm, racism and vitriol. The “white guilt” and “feminized liberal” stuff is what this troll is truly made of. See things for what they are facebook users. Don’t be like or support a fool such as What, Again.

  11. Benema – wouldn’t need to. The gringos are already self-deporting from Tucson and Maricopa County would just do the same.

  12. Not everyone with snow on the roof is a Jan Brewer-type. Don’t judge a book by its cover. I was pro-Bernie over 2 years ago and calling for him to run for POTUS. Let’s vote McCain out! Term limits in Congress!

  13. This is what happens when people get behind Trump. They are emboldened to release their own prejudices and it reveals who they really are. This election has really been a sifting for the Republican party. I am able to see who are truly compassionate conservatives and who are really just elitists with a racist agenda. Trump is sifting the wheat from the tares and the tares are filling his basket.
For true conservatives that respect all people and our individual liberties, our choice is the write-in candidate, Evan McMullin. He is wise, honest, compassionate and very strong on national security. He has a servant’s heart and deeply cares about all people. Go to his website http://www.evanmcmullin.com/issues and learn more about his vision for America at http://www.evanmcmullin.com/principles It’s never too late to do the right thing.

  14. “Hispanics don’t vote” Yet, in 2015 we seen more Hispanic Political Science majors graduate than ever before in the History of America.

Thanks to ppl like her and Trump, Arizona turned Blue lol

  15. Clsicc white Power remark by this old HAG who try to not evolve with history of life this country it’s more diverse then she got stuck on her mind back in the 60’s

  16. This old HAG try to hard to undermine the power of the Hispanic people always ….. can anyone make understand we r not in the 1960 ‘s anymore. That is wee eher cenil white stupid mind is stuck in still. Which by the way she has not right to vote and make public statements if we were in that times that she and her all basket of deplorables GOO keep
Saying was the best times of America !

  17. What she meant to say is, “Nah, doesn’t matter if they get out and vote. In Arizona, our corrupt Republican Secretary of State will make sure that their votes don’t count.”

  18. I am a snowbird and I vote in my home state (Alaska). I’m a nasty woman voting for Hillary.

  19. This Evan McMullin guy reads like a more rightwing version of Gary Johnson with a hard-on for guns. Some of Evan McMullin’s economic policies may have Libertarian appeal, but a bunch of others do not.
I took the challenge to look, and he didn’t right fit for me. If he was less hawkish, though, he could become a great GOP and/or LP party candidate.

  20. 300+ likes on one comment? This publication does not have 300 viewers on line. There are still only 13 of us. Somebody voted twice. This thing is rigged.

  21. 300+ likes on one comment? This publication does not have 300 viewers on line. There are still only 13 of us. Somebody voted twice. This thing is rigged.

  22. Hey Ratt, you oughta know all about duplication. There was a point in your posting career here at the TW site where you did that with every other comment you made. I remember it because I got tired of reading your nonsense twice all the time and I called you out on it. Don’t be a hypocrite.

The likes have soared on this thing because it’s been spread around on facebook. If you look right above the comment section, there are currently 12K likes on that site. Maybe if you quit paying attention to the Russians, who don’t need to be singled out in your lame attempt to be clever, you would notice reality.
