Speaking of potentially skewed polling, I present to you Unskewedpolls.com, where EVERY SINGLE POLL has Mitt Romney beating Barack Obama.
The source to each poll leads back to articles written for The Examiner — which will allow basically anyone with a keyboard to write for them so long as they have something to say. It’s not unlike the sports news site/slideshow depository Bleacher Report which is regularly filled with enough hyperbolic shouting and misguided thinking that I’m surprised Bravo hasn’t given it a show yet.
More interestingly, the writer for each story debunking the polls (Dean Chambers) is the same guy running Unskewedpolls.com.
So not only is he “unskewing” the polls that show Romney to be losing by working them out in a way that shows Romney to be ahead, but he’s reporting the stories and citing his own work as his proof of the bias.
The best part for a guy debunking the myths and biases of polling is that he is using OTHER POLLS from Rasmussen Reports to “unskew” the polls he doesn’t approve of — and Rasmussen’s polls are the only polls that he hasn’t “unskewed.”
So, in the end, he’s doesn’t appear to be much different than a snake eating his own tail, while ignoring a mouse that he could actually feast on if he wanted.
Talk about skewed logic.

Since major polls are using sample data from 2008 instead of 2010 or even a blend there of, then he does have a point. We have been told indepentants wuld decide this election and yet most recent polls have Romney with a 14 point lead in independant voters and is still trailing? That right there tells me the voting sample is WAY off. Those that take polls, the major news services, need to quit using polls to shape opinion and use them to actually report opinion.

I agree with elbeso! Who do you think is going to be concerned about the majority of American citizens– Someone who is a billionare, owning (at one time) 6 million+ dollar mansions and numerous income-generating real estate; or someone who reasonably owns one large house for his growing family? Mitt Romney made me sick with his comment about all the “moochers” claiming to need assistance! Sorry Mitt, but it is not a case of expecting a hand-out, but just a hand to survive in these hard economic times! Thank you Bush-wack! Obama inherited 8 years worth of MESS! We can’t expect it to be cleaned up overnight. Our President is doing the best he can with the republicans constantly rolling obstacles into our forward progress.
As Stephen Colbert made clear, reality has a liberal bias. Therefore, when the polls are stripped of reality, Romney wins. Maybe we can have Fox show an empty chair on election night and tell all the Romneyites that imaginary Obama lost, then cut to an empty podium for imaginary Romney’s acceptance speech.

Unskewed polls ???…. where the hell did you come up with this…all polls are skewed….that’s a fact of statistics..the fact of the matter is that the OBERCONSERVATIVE Rush Limbaugh on his talk show today , Thursday, September 27, 2012, acknowledged that Mitt Romney has an ICE CUBES chance in hell of winning this election, unless the democrats don’t show up, he changes his campaign, or the republicans cave in.
This BS about liberal media polls, when all the conservatives are sweating, and screaming for Mitt Romney to change his campaign, is just that BS…
