The threat is all too real for many people around the country, especially in areas like Tucson: someone coming to their door asking about their immigration status. The group United We Dream has put together a simple flier telling people what to do in case they find themselves in that situation. Seriously? How is United We Dream going to explain it to the family, friends, media and anyone else when what they think is a simple statement is misconstrued by someone who follows the” instructions” on their flier and someone is injured or worse.
In the current politically-charged climate it is difficult at best to maintain civility and public order, and now someone is giving questionable advice of a confrontational nature to people who may or may not already have issues with law enforcement.
I understand the intent, but I this is a very bad idea.
Why does the radical left support breaking our laws? Because they are closet societal misfits. And they have infiltrated education.
Simple question. What’s wrong with entering the country legally?
I think this information is helpful, but “Fight Back” and a fist is a really bad choice of language and iconography to use when you’re creating a flyer for someone who is almost certainly not English as a first language, and likely nor familiar with US history and the use of such icons.
It should show something suggesting litigation or justice, perhaps simply the scales of justice of even the statue of liberty. Put differently, it should focus on taking this situation to court, and getting representation.
That’s all we need is someone who is stressed and misinterprets this to mean literally fight. That will not help them in any way and could even result in an incident that makes this situation worse for everyone.
The Liberals are out protesting our independence from Illegal immigration. However, I believe that Mexico would highly object if we were to ship over 11.000.000 or so of our citizens into their country illegally. I don’t believe that the Mexican people would harbor thousands of our criminals, by creating sanctuary cities for their protection from Mexican Immigration officers. I don’t believe the Mexican people would be fond of their Government if they spent their tax dollars on educating and providing health care for Illegal immigrants. I guess the Mexican Government doesn’t believe in the Golden Rule “Do unto other’s as you would have them do unto you “
