Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton won the Arizona Presidential Preference Election Tuesday. Both races were called by 11 p.m. This morning, with the great majority of precincts counted, Trump got 47 percent of votes, or 249,842, and Clinton had 57.6 percent, or 235,667 votes.
In the GOP race, Cruz got 24.9 percent, or 131,972 votes, and Kasich only 10 percent, which is a little more than 53,000 votes.
Democratic candidate Bernie Sanders got 39.9 percent, or 163,368 votes.
Here in Pima County, Trump got 44 percent of the votes, and Clinton 57 percent vs. Sanders’ 41 percent.
It was a messy damn primary election in the Grand Canyon state, and it’s very hard to accept these results. Someone I know called it “Florida 2000 type shit.”
I showed up to my polling place at the Armory Park Center and waited in line two minutes. There was one person in front of me and two behind me. Thankfully, the political party I have been registered in since I became a U.S. citizen four years ago hadn’t been changed to “independent” overnight. Within five minutes, I voted, got my “I voted” sticker and went back to work.
But then I saw people’s “updates” on Facebook—thousands of voters in the Phoenix area waited in line up to five hours. Some left, some stayed and ordered pizza, others were still in line way after polls closed at 7 p.m.
A friend of mine showed up to his polling place in Tucson only to find out a mysterious force had deleted his switch from independent to Democrat. He was sent home. It turns out numerous voters, who switched from independent to Democrat (or Republican. But most complaints appear to be coming from voters switching to Democrat, according to several reports) could not vote. In Arizona, independents are only allowed to vote in the general election. Many who thought had switched were turned away and given provisional ballots.
In Maricopa County, the Board of Supervisors in February approved Maricopa County Recorder Helen Purcell’s suggestion to reduce the number of polling sites, according to The Arizona Republic, despite the large national voter turnout for both major parties this primary election cycle. Purcell said, “she still believed there would be more people voting by mail early than showing up at the polls.” People stood in line for five hours to vote.
Pima County did well: There were twice as many polling locations than Maricopa County, even though Pima is about one-third the size of Maricopa. In 2012, Maricopa had more than 200 polling places, compared to the mere 60 this year. To illustrate the gravity, The Arizona Republic says that Maricopa had one polling place per every 21,000 voters.
It was also reported that areas that are predominately Latino got either zero or one polling place.
What the hell happened?
Gov. Doug Ducey issued this statement:
Voting is one of our most important rights and responsibilities, and yesterday, a record number of Arizonans turned out to cast their choice for president. I’m glad to see so many Arizonans step up to make their voice heard for the candidate of their choice. However, it’s unacceptable that many of them had to battle incredibly long lines. Our election officials must evaluate what went wrong and how they make sure it doesn’t happen again.
One way we can fix things is to simplify them. That means allowing independents to vote in presidential primaries, just as they vote in all other Arizona primaries. A big part of yesterday’s problem was registered voters showing up, and being told they couldn’t vote. That’s just wrong. If people want to take the time to vote they should be able to, and their vote should be counted.
There is a petition on the White House website demanding the Obama administration investigate any possible voter fraud and suppression. In less than 24 hours, it’s gathered close to 50,000 signatures.
Congressman Raúl Grijalva is asking voters to come forward with any problems they faced yesterday. A press release from his office says Grijalva will use feedback to develop legislation to prevent similar events from happening again. But what good is that now? This is one of the most historic election cycles, and thousands of people could not vote.
Grijalva’s statement:
Arizona’s voting irregularities in the presidential primary were prominent and on display for the whole country to see yesterday. For the health of our democracy and the sake of every Arizonan, we must ensure the right to cast a ballot is secure in our state. That means where there are lines lasting hours on end, ballot shortages, identification issues, erroneous party affiliations or sparse polling locations, we must document these problems and implement policies that ensure they never happen again.
The impacts of undoing the Voting Rights Act have been dramatically revealed in Arizona, and the result is disenfranchisement plain and clear. Gutting polling locations to save a buck has dismantled a fair election process. The federal government must act to ensure states can never again side step our democracy. It’s time to restore the Voting Rights Act and to pass additional measures to make sure this never happens again.
Sanders called yesterday’s happenings in Arizona a “disgrace,” according to CNN.
“In the United States of America, democracy is the foundation of our way of life,” the Democratic presidential hopeful said. “And what happened in Arizona is a disgrace. I hope that every state in this country learns from that and learns how to put together a proper election where people can come in and vote in a timely manner and go back to work.”
Sanders said during a news conference a supporter emailed his campaign complaining about the long waits.
“Whatever the cost of that problem is people in the United States of America shouldn’t have to wait five hours in order to vote,” he said. “We do not know how many thousands of people who wanted to vote in Arizona did not vote.”
As of Wednesday morning, Pima County still had to count 11,230 early ballots, 8,340 provisional ballots and 90 conditional ballots.
If you had any issues, report it here.

People switched from I to D? Was it their plan to vote for Bernie so Hillary doesn’t win?
Even “Latinos” can vote by mail.
The pre-presidential election in Arizona was UNACCEPTABLE. Every government official who contributed to the debacle that happened yesterday should be heavily scrutinized. My faith in the current elected officials of Arizona who allow this to go unpunished should be removed from office. As a new citizen of Arizona, I’m highly offended and actions WILL be taken to incur repercussions.
With the amount of mail in ballots that are requested we have two problems. 1. It is impossible to estimate the need for polling places 2. It opens the door wide open for fraud. Numerous mail in ballots were brought to polling places creating an even bigger problem.
And then the election results are broadcast while people are still standing in line. They have been made to feel that their vote is worthless. And it is.
Every election it seems election officials promise results and every election something else becomes the new problem. It’s been this way as long as I can remember.
They cheated in Arizona and fixed the vote! They limited polling places in districts where Bernie was likely to get a high turnout. Lines took 5 hours to vote! They gave provisional ballots that will not count to registered Democrats! If they won’t count our votes then we are truly lost. Nullify this election in Arizona. Have everyone revote. Please it’s not that hard to figure out. This is serious. EVERYONE should be able to vote. It’s not about what they are going to do in the future. This is NOW. NOW needs to count NOW. It needs to be corrected NOW.
Bringing in your ballot causes no issues. You dont have to wait on line it just gets counted later thats all. Weaksauce argument Jonathan. Blame the media for predicting winners nobody else does.
Re-do the whole thing. It’s the right path to take. The election powers-that-be should have figured this problem out ahead of time. Because they didn’t, do it again.

Apparently Arizona voting laws stipulate a voter must register for a party, independent is not a party. This must be public information, known by the parties and campaigns. Apparently the Sanders campaign failed in inform their many independent and newly registered voters of this requirement. Then Sanders supporters cry foul. Bernie made the choice to run as a Democrat: the organization has known rules. Protesting the rules once the process in underway is unethical.
Voters whose parties were inaccurately represented and those where polling places were drastically cut have legitimate gripes.
In answer to Juli Hess, that’s likely exactly what happened. It’s what I did. I live in WV, another state with closed primaries. I’ve been a registered Independent since I was first eligible to vote 15 years ago. This year I changed my party affiliation to Democrat because, for the first time since I was 18, I actually care which Dem gets the party nomination. And I want it to be Sanders, because I don’t trust Clinton to work for the people. I firmly believe that she will only work for the campaign contributors and lobbyists dumping money in her lap, and that’s not in the best interests of the general public. Many other Independents out there feel the way I do, but because of the closed primary system we would not be allowed a voice in our state’s primary election if we maintained that party affiliation. So it doesn’t surprise me at all to find that many Independent voters are changing their party affiliation to Democrat if their state has a closed primary. It’s the only way we’ll be allowed to have our say.
Thanks Anita. That’s what I was thinking. If Hillary is the only choice I will not vote. I don’t trust her either. And now I think her husband is even worse.
Is it possible the Hillary democrats caused this to happen and suppress the vote?
It’s always possible that something shady happened, especially considering how widespread the issues were. However, until something is definitively proven, we should assume it was just general incompetence and/or technological failure. They certainly had enough other incompetence going around yesterday.
However, I would caution you against your statement that you intend not to vote if Hillary gets the Democratic nomination. Donald Trump is the current Republican front runner, and Hillary does not poll as well against Trump as Bernie does. If Hillary and Trump get their respective party nominations, it could be a very close race. And despite distrusting her, I think she would be a vastly better president than Donald Trump would be. So if it comes down to Hillary and Trump in the election, I hope you will still vote for her. Not because you believe in her, but because she has to be better than Trump.
Please do not ascribe the voting problems to an effort to favor Hillary over Bernie. If that were true, why were there SERIOUS problems in Maricopa County, a county with high Latino population who would be expected to support Hillary? Voting difficulties are indeed a SERIOUS NATIONWIDE problem. However, Democratic voters are generally disadvantaged compared to Republicans. We need NATIONAL action to remedy these problems, not just a revote in Arizona.
Cynthia, you are an idiot.
It was made VERY clear by the Sanders campaign, I would know, as I personally switched my affiliation from I to D for the Primary after BEING INFORMED BY THE SANDERS CAMPAIGN….
The issue here is that polling locations were cut significantly and party affiliations were mysteriously changed or never processed.
Maybe try reading the article before you decide to add your unnecessary, biased commentary 🙂
I don’t have enough information on the demographic & political breakdown of Arizona to say one way or another. That’s why I said that while it is possible that something questionable happened, until it’s proven we should assume it was just screw-ups and not something more sinister. I’m not one to advocate conspiracy theories, but I also won’t rule out possibilities until a proper investigation has been done.
Jamila, it would appear that you need to work a little more on your communication skills.
..”party affiliations were mysteriously changed or never processed.”
I just loved how you added your unnecessary and biased commentary.
I am joining the Women against Hillary movement also. I can not trust her. I would rather see what Trump can do to fix the economy and improve national safety. Hillary’s foreign policy disasters scare me.

I have a slightly different take on this. Yesterday at 7pm when the polls were closed and they projected the winner, there were 344,000 votes cast for democrats (estimated to be 71% of the total) these were early ballots, there was no exit polling done in Arizona, so only the early ballots were counted thus far. This means that assuming the voter turnout wasn’t higher than expected, (which it clearly was) 29% of the vote was done in person. This amounts to roughly 100,000 voters. Yet, with all counties reporting 100%in, the tally went from 344,000 to only 398,000. This means that instead of 100,000 votes, only 55,000 votes were counted. Which means there is a minimum of 45,000 votes that were not counted. Either 45,000 voters were turned away or forced to throw there vote away with a provisional ballot, or simply 45,000 votes disappeared. Either way, this is clear evidence of voter fraud. The math doesn’t add up
Cynthia is a paid troll. Don’t worry about her.
Can we start a petition to SPECIFICALLY nullify this Arizona democratic primary? It sounds like the other petition is just for improving further Arizona primaries.
A petition to do a re-vote of the Arizona primary already exists.
https://petitions.whitehouse.gov/petition/do-revote-arizona-primary-due-voter-suppression
Erik Pye…I early voted in my home state of Texas and had a 1.5 hour wait with electronic voting machines. I have NEVER in my lifetime seen such passion and interest in primaries for both parties. This is a great thing. There are numerous things that can and have gone wrong in every state to date. I understand the anger and frustration of feeling your voice is not being heard, my absentee ballot many years ago was returned because the post office did not deliver it before the deadline. I was so angry and felt disenfranchised. This was the Gore-Bush election and I will never forget it. I would ask that you channel all that passion into changing the voting structure (having to register your party affiliation 29 days before the election is not the easiest rule to remember) for the future and not put out a statement that can cause a lot of harm and escalate the argument in a negative way.
Who has the authority and/or what is the process for a revote to be initiated or yesterday’s results to be nullified?

No problems for me, arrived 20 min. before the polls opened and there were already 17 ahead of me. Enjoyed talking with more than a few – no politics – met new friends and saw some neighbors. All went well and I left happy having cast mine for Donald.
There is only one solution: Nullification of both primary votes.
National news is talking about Maricopa county having too few polling places but it goes far deeper. This was an “election fraud and vote suppression” bonanza and there’s no way to tell what might have been the intent of the voters. I’m wondering if we should change our state nickname from Grand Canyon State to “Banana Republic”.
— Tens of thousands of voters were outside waiting in long lines when the race was called by the AP and CNN, based on a tiny sliver of Arizona precincts plus whatever knowledge existed for counted early ballots.
— “Provisional” ballots were given to some people who stuck it out and argued with their precinct until given a ballot; many didn’t bother and just left. I witnessed one of them when I voted.
— Voter turnout was heavy, whereas the Maricopa County Recorder reduced the number of polling places in Maricopa County to 1 per 68,000 people. I’m sure many people didn’t bother going or they just gave up and left.
— Some unknown number of voters who switched from Indy to D/R before the deadline were discarded by state computers so they could not vote.
— Some unknown number of voters who have long been D/R were changed to Indy so they could not vote.
This fiasco has all the signs of both corruption and incompetence. Hearings, hand-wringing, passing laws for the future, saying we are sorry — even firings — are not enough.
We must DEMAND nullification of the Arizona vote. After that, we can decide whether to re-vote.

Editor please note this article is in error. According to the Arizona Secretary of State official website in multiple locations: “If the independent voter goes to the polls on Election Day they will be given the option to choose a party ballot at that time.”
“If I am not registered with a recognized party, can I still vote in the Primary Election?
Yes. Arizona has an open primary law which allows any voter who is registered as an independent to cast a ballot for one of the officially recognized political parties.”
Where are independent voters who comprise 30% of registered voters told they cannot vote in the Primary Election?
http://www.azsos.gov/elections
Cynthia Clark – you are as wrong as can be. Bernie campaign workers and supporters have been informing people that they needed to change to Democrat to vote for Bernie for months. So many did, but when they got to the polling place, were told that the change hadn’t been recorded so they couldn’t vote. other Independents who wanted to vote for Bernie were too put off by having to register themselves as Democrats that they wouldn’t do it, so couldn’t vote.
Everybody: This was not a PRIMARY ELECTION. this was the “presidential preference” election. Ive been saying that on Facebook for months. In the primary election in August, you will be allowed to choose a party ballot – and vote for Senator, etc., but not the president. The only office on this ballot was president. The Arizona legislature, solidly Republican voted to hold a third election (other than the primary and the general) and then DID NOT FUND IT. So the counties have to pay for it – and they can cut back if they want to.
Dear Sanders Supporters. The lines in Arizona were so long, not because Hillary had it out for you, but because the Supreme Court gutted voter rights laws allowing Republicans to disenfranchise areas like Phoenix with high minority populations. Now we have a unique opportunity to remake the Supreme Court and avoid this in the future. Please remember that Bill appointed Justices like Ruth Ginsburg and Breyer, reliable liberal votes. It’s irrational to think Hillary is literally going to appoint a corporation and far more reasonable to assume she would appoint a justice in the same vein. So for nothing more than avoiding this in the future, please consider not wasting your vote on a protest candidate and voting for the candidate who can influence the Supreme Court for generations.
http://www.msnbc.com/msnbc/weakened-voting-rights-act-some-arizona-voters-wait-hours
The real problem was the lack of voting areas. The lines were long, but don’t make our two hour wait for nothing by re-voting. We made the time and got in line early. The lines were long because there were so many uninformed independents trying to vote. Every independent in line wasted 15-30 minutes of the time arguing and wanting a provisional vote. The voting volunteers spent a lot of time trying to find them in the system and then had to explain provisional voting doesn’t count in this type of republican or democrat poll.
My husband mysteriously was changed from republican to undecided for some reason so I understand the pain of waiting. Be informed next time. If we knew his voting card preference was Ineligible to vote in this democrat and republican only election due to his card error, we wouldn’t have stayed in line. It’s information people lacked not voter fraud. Have someone in line next time answering questions and checking voting cards. Lines would shorten and problems cease.
Basically if it’s not your election and you didn’t designate your democrats or republican status by the deadline, stay home as your not qualified to vote. Don’t be mad at the qualified to vote remark as your voting card must say rep or dem for this election, if it doesn’t stay home. If you don’t want lines, then register for early voting ballots. If you have an early ballot then mail it in or walk to front of line and drop it off. If your a registered independent, stay home until it’s your turn to have your vote counted in the real presidential election.
Educate yourself and the required voting requirements and don’t cry foul when it doesn’t go your way.
F Ann Rodriquez County Recorder, was on local tv news last night and said voters may have caused errors by making party changes at Motor Vehicle.
Sure am glad that the government is not involved in Our healthcare.
That is intended to be a sad joke.
If you offer voting at a polling place, you have to provide the polling place. The Maricopa County Recorder should be fired.
If anyone really believes there wasn’t some idea in the back of her head that reducing the number of polling places would suppress the poor and minority votes, I have some lakefront property in Eloy to sell you. Thank goodness our Recorder did a better job.
Pssst ~ there is another choice! If you are fed up with the 2-party system that is rife with incivility and chicanery, check out the under-reported Green Party. We had 2 doctors on our primary ballot and both visited Tucson March 10 to share their platforms. Though media were notified, nobody bothered to cover it. Green Party candidates do not accept corporate campaign contributions, so if you want money out of politics consider voting for the greater good rather than the lesser evil this time around.
As an Independent living in AZ for 25 years I knew I would not be able to vote in the primary. My choice, and I understood the consequences. So I and others who would have voted for Sanders had to sit this one out. Should I have registered as a Democrat (or Republican)? Why encourage them?
The Democrats have rigged the nomination by creating a class of “more equal” voters (party apparatchiks or Super Delegates) whose 715 collective delegate votes represent 30% of the total to be counted. Sounds fair, if you are in favor of the party’s pre-ordained nominee. So no, I don’t want to encourage that sort of political party.
The Republicans are wrestling between having to run Trump or Cruz or throw the party into the dustbin of history (Whigs, Bull Moose) by disenfranchising the Trump supporters. Sounds fair, if you are nuts.
Independents make up roughly a third of registered voters but are denied the same opportunity as the electorates in other states that hold open primaries. That is what needs to be changed.
I was able to switch my affiliation simply online and print a validation out to carry with me in Cochise County. I switched from G to D because this is the first time I have ever seen a difference between the D candidates that made it worth the effort to vote in the primaries. The fact that Bernie lost in AZ after having won close. similar states like Utah and Idaho makes me wonder if the Ds might have been in on the suppression…
Unbelievable.
Arizona Voters..
WAKE UP and smell the coffee.
Republican Voter Suppression at it’s Best.
It’s time to get the Feds Involved, because any State Investigation would be like having the Javalina’s guarding your garbage can.
I am shocked and disappointed by how many comments are blaming the voters/ victims instead of addressing the real question: Why were so many of our party affiliations changed without the permission of the voter? I’m not just talking about the many who changed their registered party before the deadline and still couldn’t vote. I have been a registered Dem since 2008, but when I went to vote I was informed that my party had been changed to Green ~ without my knowledge or consent. Even stranger was coming home and finding in my mail box a BRAND NEW printed voter ID card with my altered party affiliation. This tells me that the change was made sometime very recently if the new card was only showing up on election day. How is this possible? I am investigating and I intend to pursue any and all legal recourse. My constitutional right to vote was deliberately suppressed. I personally think it has to do with Clinton’s campaign using Sanders’ mailing lists to purge the voter roles, but whatever the reason/ motive, this cannot stand.
I received a new registration card in the mail yesterday. Has anybody addressed the reason these cards were sent out after the election?
Solve the problem for yourselves. Order a mail in ballot and do it early.
Stop waiting for the government to “get it right.”
They can’t. This affected all parties and all voters. Let’s not choose sides.
There are some very basic, clear reasons:
1) USAmerica is not and was never designed to be a democracy…
2) If we wanted a democracy we’d dump this Plutocracy and institute;
a) public financing of elections (and OUTLAW private financing of same)
b) use of The PEOPLE’S AIRWAVES for substantive candidate statements and debates on ISSUES
c) Ranked Choice Voting with proportional representation
d) elimination of the Electoral College (and the Senate)
e) effective, truthful education in all school grades in the skills of citizenship, how things actually work (someday, hopefully “worked”), etc…
f) including another, more effective attempt to encourage critical thinking…
As long as each state is allowed to create their own disparate, convoluted, perverse “election rules” — In the red states such rules are now obviously designed to suppress voting by “certain groups” (the already disenfranchised non-affluent folk) — this sort of voter suppression will become even more commonplace…
Welcome to the American Corporatocracy. In the 1980s, they took power with the election of Ronald Reagan and never looked back. In 2008, they were nearly unmasked during the Wall Street Crash, but their bought-and-paid-for minions in the government used whatever means necessary to take from the people and give to themselves. Thanks to their focus on continuing to amass wealth and power, they have let the window dressing and trappings of democracy go unattended so that the tragic comedy that is the Presidential Race of 2016 has clearly demonstrated that the fourth estate has willfully traded its responsibilities to be the watch dogs of democracy for the steady revenue stream from sponsors and advertising by presiding as the ring masters of the three-ring political circus comprised of the executive, legislative and judicial branches of the government. Is it any wonder that the leading Republican candidate fronted his own “reality” television show? While the American people were distracted by military adventurism around the world that cynically used up the lives of those most willing to sacrifice their futures for an America that no longer exists and unwittingly planting the seeds of today’s terrorists, those in power continue to use the age-old fears of conquest, war, famine and plague to shackle the minds and spirits of the people. The media now feeds those fears 24/7, while the “elected” marionettes in government twist themselves into impossible poses to appease both their unseen masters and the public mobs crying for redress in a land where justice and fairness have been supplanted by laws that no longer come from the will of the people, but from the long-term business plans of corporations. As for the debacle that was yesterday’s vote, just one more example of how the will of the people is sidelined by thinly-veiled contrivances disguised as incompetence to ensure those running things can continue to do so unencumbered by the people, who are after all just another commodity.
Write in Bernie!!! The 2 party system is a joke. OR has closed primaries as well. Many states do. If you didn’t change your party affiliation to democrat or republican at least 3 weeks before your state votes, it won’t be counted. Do your research. ..
I have never seen such a variety of opinions and differing places to lay the blame. Bottom line is, I can’t/won’t vote for Hillary Clinton. I think I am going to write in Ben Carson. He seemed the most level headed of all the candidates.
Bernie is an independent forced by the rigged two party system to become a democrat in order to run in the election. Independent parties are not allowed to appear in debates, since the privately owned and run Republican and Democratic parties forbid them in 1996. In order to vote for Bernie you must become a Democrat, unless your state has an Open Primary. if your state does not have an Open Primary you are forced to vote for Hillary and pretend you have a choice.

Im going to say this once ONLY!!!! ANY CLINTON SUPPORTER ON HERE THAT HAS A “RIGHT” to bash on other bernie supporters saying they were uninformed and therefore there should be no revoting??? Are yiu kidding me?!?!? There are people talking about this who already voted primary and who have still yet to vote for the next up coming seriously that have showed photo proof of the one from mail that was changed to the random one that was incorrect after they changed from independent to dem. People who were voring dem for yrs said they somehow were screwed over saying their ballots were reading repub. This is a RED FLAG that tells me what i have been suspecting that clintons camp is behind this and many of the other shams. This will def. Never make any of the sanders supporters ever vote for hillary. Get over yourself.
I sympathize with those of you who feel disenfranchised because you’re independent & not allowed to vote in either major party primary. It’s the same in my state. However, if there is a candidate you really want to vote for, it’s worth it to register for that party (& unregister if you don’t want to stay). I don’t identify myself as the party with which I’m registered (currently Democrat), but with what I feel inside, which aligns me closer to certain minority parties (Green, Progressive, Socialist). I think the way to break out of the 2-Party system (besides letting the 2 parties collapse on their own, which at least the Republican Party seems to be doing right now), is to form a coalition among like-minded minor parties, many independents, & progressives & even libertarians from the Democratic & Republican parties that will challenge both parties.. The groups now supporting Bernie could be the catalyst for such a movement, especially if Bernie doesn’t get nominated by the Democrats.
I wish you Bernie supporters would just go away. The only reason he ran as a Democrat was because there were too many republicans. Hillary has earned this and she deserves it even if they have to adjust a few votes here and there. Hillary was promised that she would not have a primary challenger, and now you Bernie supporters have forced her to spend a lot of her own money and waste a lot of time beating him.
Please stop voting against her now.
The ACLU is a communist organization that should be banned from the United States.

What happened is that Helen Purcell, wife of Joe Purcell former Lt. Governor under Bill Clinton, rigged the election for her friend Hillary. It’s that simple. The election needs to be declared null and void, redo it, and Purcell needs to be indicted.
I just called the office of the Governor of Arizona and asked him to declare Tuesday’s vote invalid, hold a new primary, and to indict Helen Purcell. His number is (602) 542-4331.
Not true?

“I wish you Bernie supporters would just go away.”
Too bad. We wish you Hillbots would just go away, too. Looks like neither of us will get our wish. Suck it up, buttercup.
“The only reason he ran as a Democrat was because there were too many republicans.”
Survey says “X”.
The only reason he ran as a Democrat is because the two-party system is rigged, and if you want stand a chance of getting elected, you are forced to be part of one of those two completely corrupt and broken parties.
“Hillary has earned this and she deserves it even if they have to adjust a few votes here and there.”
Survey says “XX”.
Oh, so just because YOU think she’s “earned” it, it’s ok to screw over the democratic process? Nice to know you’re so against the fundamental basis of our government.
“Hillary was promised that she would not have a primary challenger…”
Survey says “XXX”.
Really? Do tell. Promised by whom, exactly? Debbie Wasserman-Schultz, the corrupt head of the DNC, who is trying to push $hillary down everyone’s throat, so she can land a cabinet position? But hey, thanks for playing, so sorry you lost (your mind…lol), and here’s a lovely home version of our game… 😀
“…and now you Bernie supporters have forced her to spend a lot of her own money and waste a lot of time beating him.”
Oh, boo hoo. Cry me a river. If you can’t take the heat, get out of the kitchen.
P.S. It’s not her money. It’s Wall Street’s money. Just look at who her biggest backers are. Bernie’s money comes from average citizens (who despise the neo-cons, but are fed up with people like Clinton, who are nothing but Republicans in Democrat’s clothing), not from the likes of Goldman-Sachs and Monsanto.
“Please stop voting against her now.”
That’s not just a “No.”, that’s a “Hell no, and since you asked, I think I’ll spend more time phone banking for Bernie and throw him a few more dollars.” Care to try again? The Sanders campaign thanks you for your support. LOL. 😀
With Bernie’s trifecta landslide wins yesterday, it is time for Hillary to drop out and urge her supporters to coalesce around the best candidate to face Trump in November.
The USSR are socialists. Bernie Sanders is a socialist. Everybody will suffer under Bernie. When you punish success it will end for America. New Zealand and Australia would gladly take our best and brightest and leave us the lazy losers because they don’t understand free market economics. Do notice that Bernie supporters are coming right out of college with no real world experience. Instead of waiting tables try opening your own business. You will run fro Bernie.
Why feel the Bern when you can read all about him? The only thing missing is a Communist manifesto:

I’m afraid recent college graduates have been lied to about socialism. They do not understand the misery that accompanies socialism.
Public hanging need to take place here they no it too …………..
The Secretary of State of Arizona went into the meeting with the citizens and stated that she knew party affiliations were changed because it happened to someone in her office. You people who insist that the establishment will play fair are in for a serious shock if you get your way. I will not vote for HRC. If she steals the nomination with the help of her buddy Karl Rove I will register Independent before the general election and either vote for Bernie as an Independent or write him in, and I’m not alone in this by any means. If you all want Hillary so bad, deal with what ever you end up with. If you stop planning to vote out of fear of Trump you can vote for you own best interests instead. Quit insisting that Bernie supporters give up, and give up yourselves. There no reason that to unite it has to be behind the establishment candidate except that the 1% say so. Almost every poll, MSM polls, say that Bernie can beat any of the Republicans by a bigger margin than HRC could. Look it up. Don’t take my word for it, not like you’re taking the word of anybody that says what you want to hear. I did my homework. I know what I’ll be voting for. And it won’t be for the Clinton war machine. If we had spent the money on our country and our people that we have wasted on unnecessary wars, we would have a good country again. As it is, I’m a veteran who is no longer proud to be an American. That is not un-American, I still remember what this country was like before we lost the left wing altogether. We now have right wing and far right batsh*t crazy right wing. The country is rotten to the core from the head down, and incremental change just won’t do anymore. Neocons talk a good game, but HRC won’t pledge to stop fracking even now. She double-talks around that like she double talks and lies about everything. She believes herself to be above the law, and maybe her money and power will make that so, but it won’t make it right.
There will NOT be a re-vote of the Arizona’s primaries
https://u4see.com/prediction/1573
Once again, Arizona became the laughing stock of the Country by blatantly sabotaging their own primary election thru fraud, voter suppression and broken promises. Independents such as myself had read promises in the local Republican newspaper that Independents would be permitted to vote in the primary of their choice. However, it ended up being a closed primary, even though Independents are the largest registered voting block in the state. Many who waited in line for hours were denied the right to vote; most voting polling places were closed in the states only large metro area! The polls were closed and the winner announced before many in line got near the front of the five hour lines. Also, many Democrats found their registration had been changed without their knowledge and consent. Political leaders sounded angry, but the sabotage of a fraudulent election was still successful. There is a fake primary scheduled in August which has nothing to do with the Presidential primaries. The PPE was the real primary, done illegally with the intent to prevent a real primary.
As for me, I vote by mail as I despise long lines (having grown up in the most densely populated place in the US) and I just returned my registration to the Democratic party so I can get my Constitutional rights back in the future. Disgusting, but it’s either that or no voting is possible.
