EXCITING NEWS, EVERYONE! Henry Barajas joins the Tucson Weekly team today as our new online editor, taking over for David Mendez, who went back to school but will continue to be around writing stuff.

Henry, who we stole away from the Star, will be the new face of The Range, our social media presence on Facebook, Twitter and Friendster, and be involved in a bunch of other stuff around here as well. I’m personally excited to see what he comes up with, but I probably should be, since I hired him.

Feel free to welcome him in whatever manner you’d like, which for some of you, would likely be criticizing his grammar when he first posts something. If you’d like to tip him off to something Range-worthy, feel free to email him at hbarajas@tucsonweekly.com.

Please keep in mind though, when the editor wants you to inject some random bullshit about obscure 1990s rhythm and blues music or something about the Insane Clown Posse, please, for the benefit of the rest of us, ignore him.   5. Oh no, Dan. I will not be the only satisfied commenter, my comment speaks for and benefits many. Plus, if he does the right thing and ignores anything related to that crap, we all know you will be quick to pick up that ball and run with it. DC

  6. AZ/DC: Did the commenters get together and have a summit to discuss the matter? Were you appointed to be the representative? Must have been quite an event.

  7. I was not just referring to the commenters Dan, I commented that my comment will benefit many. If you want people to think you’re clever with these retorts then maybe you should take the time to actually comprehend what you’re retorting to.
    What does it matter anyways? Like I previously implied, you will fill that void yourself. I do not even bother to read any of the dreck associated with these overrated musical acts so it doesn’t even affect me.
