As seems to be the standard these days, YouTube is streaming sets from Lollapalooza all weekend. While New Order and Hot Chip have been cruelly ignored on the schedule today, there are still (depending on when you read this, I guess) performances by Crystal Castles, Imagine Dragons, Queens of the Stone Age, Band of Horses, The Killers and Nine Inch Nails today, and popular music performers like Mumford & Sons, The Postal Service, The Lumineers, Kendrick Lamar, The National, Ellie Goulding, Eric Church, Local Natives, and Charles Bradley on Saturday, with The Cure, Phoenix, Beach House, Vampire Weekend, Grizzly Bear, Alt-J, Tegan and Sara, Two Door Cinema Club among the acts on Sunday.

After the cut, the players for Saturday and Sunday (why they need a player for each day, I have no idea).

One reply on “Watch Live Music From Lollapalooza This Weekend”

  1. I recall a time when Lollapalooza was a festival to look forward to, unfortunately those days are long gone. It used to be that maybe one or two of the bands featured on the bill sucked ass, now it’s become the complete opposite with only one or two of the bands being worthy. Give me the old shows with Tool, Ministry, Butthole Surfers, RHCP, Beastie Boys, Soundgarden, Ice-T (with & without Body Count), Beck, Living Colour, Primus, Cypress Hill, Rage Against the Machine, L7, Alice in Chains, Ice Cube, Ben Folds Five, Nine Inch Nails (when they didn’t suck) and the band which played possibly the greatest show I ever saw at the now defunct Compton Terrace, the one and only Jane’s Addiction. Sorry, but it’s obvious to anyone with musical taste that the list of acts which are presented above put almost all of the current line-up to shame. A time machine and a set of tickets to see these shows once again would be priceless.
