A number of folks have written or called, wanting to know where Chris Limberis–and his Weekly contributions–are.
Chris is currently fighting another round in his battle with leukemia. He’s on what we’re hoping will be a brief leave of absence. In the meantime, reaching him via his Weekly telephone and e-mail won’t work. If you would like to get a message to him, send it to me, and I’ll pass it on.

He’s dearly missed around here, and we look forward to his return.

•In other, far-less important news: Feedback on our Best of Tucson™ issue has been overwhelmingly positive; to all of you who have called or written (and, in one case, text-messaged) in your kind words: thank you.
However, not all the feedback has been positive. There were a couple of late-breaking, minor corrections that we’ll expand on next week; several folks have complained about the readers’ choice winners (which are out of our control, of course). A few business owners have griped about their blurbs, too. (Seeing as every blurb in the issue was predominantly positive–except for maybe the one about Northwest Tucson–I have no sympathy, unless we made a mistake. And if we did make a mistake, please let us know.)

Now, with Best of Tucson™ and, after this weekend, Fall Club Crawl™ in the rearview mirror, we’re looking forward to our fall and winter issues. We hope you are, too.
