I’m on KFMA‘s morning show with Fook every Wednesday at 8:10 am to discuss whatever comes up. For some reason, this week we talked about Bronies, the adult male fanbase of the HUB network program My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic.

I’m cool with seeing the bronies as weird and not liking the subculture and all that jazz. There’s a lot of subcultures I dislike that I probably shouldn’t (Charlie Sheen fans, I’m looking at you!). The only thing that irks me is playing the first generation My Little Pony theme. Most of us are trying to distance ourselves from previous generations of the show cuz we already seem like we’re on the fringe as it is. Though I admit, not hitting mute out of some inate fear as it comes on takes some getting used to at first.
