You’ll have to wait a little less than a year, but it looks like Pixar gets back on track with the fairy tale Brave in 2012. To be honest, I’m just happy Larry the Cable Guy isn’t involved.

The world needs another … Disney … princess?
After The Mouse House “completed the set,” as it were, with *The Princess & The Frog*, I was hoping it would shut down the princess conveyor belt.
Pixar, the greatest collection of genius since the Manhattan Project, or maybe the Constitutional Convention, has to this point avoided the free coinage of princesses — the only exception I can think of was way back in *A Bug’s Life* — but it appears that John Lasseter & Co. has convened a focus group of eight-year-old girls.
