I can’t imagine “Thumbs and Ammo” sticks around for long (novelty blogs tend to burst into whatever passes for prominence online, then fade away quickly as the joke gets old), but if you’re a fan of film and encouragement, take a moment to peruse the photoshopped images of people giving the thumbs-up signal instead of holding a gun.

  1. Oh…I get it, “thumbs,” and ammo. GUNS and ammo! AH, Geez, that’s clever. You know, an anti-fire arm thing, geez. Reminds me . that Tv commercial where four of those stars got on the tube and said shooting guns was a bad thing, then…the NRA used the same footage, and clipped in movie footage of the stars own films showing them shooting off lots of guns. (kinda turned the tables on them, ya know?)…Anyway, lotsa thumbs in yours, made me think – it’s all MOVIES!! What about REAL life, our state laws n all, say we can carry pistols w/out licenses or such. So far, I don’t see people holding up their thumbs in public, do you? And “teachers with guns in school?” How do we know that they are NOT ALREADY carrying guns, and we just don’t know it? Yo know?? After all, it might be pretty scarry for them, huh?
