It’s a three-legged T.H.R.E.A T. stool, solidifying Trump’s authoritarian positions. Actually, a soccer metaphor is even more fitting. Trump performed a T.H.R.E.A T. Watch hat trick. He pounded home three of his administration’s authoritarian goals, attacking immigrants, the media and dissent.

The most obviously vile, but not necessarily the most dangerous, of Trump’s three recent statements is Thursday’s reference to Haiti and African countries as “shitholes.” Trump is a master at painting enemies in the worst possible light with his descriptors, and “shitholes” ranks among the best of them. It refers to a hole dug under an outhouse. While the rest of us walk on clean land, Trump’s image has people living in those countries wallowing in the most disgusting kind of filth. For Trump, an admitted germaphobe, the image must be especially revolting.

The president has removed any remaining doubt that he’s a racist. Up to this point, only a fan could question his obvious racial animus, but when Trump called countries populated by people of color “shitholes,” even his most ardent supporters have their work cut out for them — at least those who are interested in defending him from the “racist” label. I’m sure white supremacists everywhere are overjoyed.

Immigrants of color, even those living here legally, have growing reasons to fear for their safety and security.

A few days ago, Trump declared our libel laws are “a sham and a disgrace.” When he described what should be considered libel, he mostly stuck to the current legal definition. What Trump really meant is, when he and his cronies are criticized, he should be empowered to call it libel and bring the full weight of his authority down on his critics’ heads, courts be damned. Trump wants to be judge, jury and executioner when it comes to our first amendment rights.

Also a few days ago during a Wall Street Journal interview, Trump said the FBI employees who criticized him in texts were guilty of something much worse than libel. They committed treason, a crime against the country. If Trump knew history or understood a smattering of French, he might have cut to the chase and repeated the statement made by Louis XIV in the 17th century: “L’Etat, c’est moi.”

The country’s T.H.R.E.A T. level has taken a dramatic leap forward in the past few days, and our country has taken a big step backward. To people who say Trump’s first year wasn’t as bad as they feared, I say, You ain’t seen nothing yet.

  1. Germany just announced changes to their open border policy and will no longer allow chain migration to their country, and will enact stricter border security. And nobody called her racist.

Dick Durbin made the claim regarding Trump’s words. Has anybody confirmed that Durbin is telling the exact verbiage? Two Senators have said that they did not recall him saying that. Upon closer questioning his marks appear to refer to the governmental leaders of the countries that are sending us their unwanted problem citizens. Cuba has done it, so has El Salvador and Mexico.

Let’s not forget that even with the Russian investigation Durbin praised Putin in an attempt to marginalize Trump’s Presidency.

Has he ever tried this in the past?

  2. The Constitution of the United States provides the following for the removal of Donald Trump:

Article II, Section 4; 25th Amendment, section 4; and the 2nd Amendment.

Donald Trump is a Racist Neo Nazi, an Inveterate Liar, and Mentally Unstable. He is a threat to our Constitutionally Protected Freedoms and Nationally Security, and, as such, he MUST be Removed from Office Forthwith!!!

  3. Wayne, aren’t you just a little bit ashamed of your attempts to say it didn’t happen, that Trump didn’t call some countries shitholes?

  4. Over sensitive people in life. If it was said. I am with the President. Start recording everything.
That’s what I do daily when confronted with a potential “liar” situation. And, lying today, no matter who it is, seems to be the normal now. I suggest everyone to wear a body cam. U of A is great for lying, as we seen in the local papers, that confirm my own experiences as well.
Quality Control. Ends any question between any parties blaming each other. Like civilian and police. For instance.

  5. All I can tell you is the economy is rockin’ and rollin’ like there’s no tomorrow. Wasn’t it Clinton who said ” it’s the economy, stupid” Looks like he was right.

  6. Rocky29, love the idea of Trump recording everything. It worked great for Nixon. What could go wrong, especially for a truth teller like Trump?

  7. I love it! Donnie is right again!

For almost 40 years this American of Mexican decent worked exclusively in Africa, South America, Central America and a bit in Asia as a executive consultant to gas, oil, timber, fishing, mining companies and the governments in more two dozen countries. I have met at least a dozen presidents of these third-world paradises. I have lived for months on end in the jungles of central and western Africa and the Amazon basin. I know the peoples I know the cultures and Donnie is right.

Corruption is the life’s blood of most and the people from the top down in the majority of these countries have been socialized from birth to live and work in corrupt societies.

OUR VALUES ARE NOT THEIR VALUES.

To be sure it is not the individuals fault they believe and behave in corrupt ways in almost every endeavor of their daily existence, but it is as it is. Because of this culturally engrained approach to life, they cannot conceive of an other approach. Bringing them here does not help the U.S. in anyway; indeed it diminishes the U.S. Don’t let them in and send those here back.

  8. Regardless of what might preclude you to think something about an entire group of people that you do not know, everyone deserves the benefit of the doubt. This is what separates America from the rest of the world. The value of the individual for who they are instead of collective identity.

  9. To CW13 and all the others who believe that 45 is the answer to all their prayers:

I suppose you’ve never wondered why most Americans, about a month ago as high as 68% of us, don’t approve of The Orange Overlord. One of the major issues is his “Me, Me, Me” attitude. He is a boisterous, narcissistic megalomaniac, and that rubs millions of Americans the wrong way.

Here are just a few examples of where the posts of you and your Chump loving pals fail and just how pretentious the man is:

If you knew anything about economics, you wouldnt believe the false statements which one finds daily in the president’s tweets. He has repeatedly taken credit for the positive jobs, and that’s nothing but hot air.
A president can affect the economy through the decisions they make, but it often takes years to see the impact, so…while some of the Baby Man’s claims are true, most if not all of the positive indicators, continue trends that began during the (Gasp!) Obama administration.
The Cheeto in Chief is just one of many cooks in the kitchen that influence the economy. It is sad to see that he is the first post-WW II president to use the “I” did it instead of “we”, “the country” or “businesses” did it, when speaking of economic growth and jobs.
Even as the unemployment rate has fallen, and other economic indicators like home prices and the stock market have been healthy, wages have remained flat. Yes, theyve gone up, as tRump has tweeted, but average hourly earnings were up 2.5% over the last 12 months as of July. Thats actually lower than the 2.9% pace in December 2016, just before he took office. So far, so much for the great paying jobs for the rust-belt folks.
Mr. Drumpf may deserve some credit for the boost in the stock market, which has taken place primarily due to yet to be carried out promises. His impact on job creation and overall growth remains to be seen.
A healthy stock market is great, espcecially for the 50% of Americans who own 70% of our riches. They will use their tax breaks to invest even more in stocks and become even richer. The divide between the rich and the poor will increase even more. The tax plan won’t pay for itself, will add one trillion dollars to the deficit, and won’t decrease, but increase, taxes for the middle-class and poor Americans.

Also, regarding ISIS, The Classless Commander is carrying out a plan with an international coalition that, again, was put into place by (Gasp!) Obama. ISIS was on the run way before The Tangerine Tyrant was elected. Giving him total credit for them now being defeated is just plain wrong.

    Sincerely, DC

  10. The Tangerine Tyrant. That says it all. For what ever reason your hatred for Trump knows no bounds. That’s fine with me. I’ve come to realize that no matter what Trump does, you will never give him an ounce of credit. If he screws up you will be all over him. If he does good you will pooh-pooh it or give credit to Obama for it. I realize that I’ll never change your mind, so I quit. This is the last post that I’ll ever even mention him. You have your opinion, I have mine.
So AZ/DC, lets just leave it at this.
    1) The funniest human being to ever walk the face of this Earth was George Carlin.
    2) If God ever decided to take up the guitar, he’d go to Jimi for lessons.
On those two things we can agree.
    Peace

  11. You obviously didn’t read my post thoroughly.

I did give the Orange Orangutan some credit.

Please, don’t comment on my posts if you don’t take the time to read them thoroughly.

If reading anything over 3 sentences is too much for you, then don’t bother to send me a rebuttal. It’s embarrassing for me and you.

And yes…Carlin, Hendrix and Moon were all the ultimate masters of their craft. Meltdown Temper Tantrum Boy Trump…not so much.

  12. ” I’ve come to realize that no matter what Trump does, you will never give him an ounce of credit. “

The same thing could be said about you the other way around. Haven’t you always remained zealously uncritical of Trump no matter what he does? You don’t need to be a “never Trump”, but that doesn’t mean you have to be an “always Trump”.

  13. I could spend an hour relating to things I don’t like about Trump. Don’t accuse me of something that isn’t true. I’ve been critical of him on more that one occasion. it’s a moot point, I have nothing else to say.
AZ/Dc. I offer you an olive branch and you stick it in my eye. Bite me !!

  14. I didn’t stick anything in your eye.

If you comment on my post incorrectly, I will inform you of it.

I did give your Orange King some credit…and you failed to notice that.

I didn’t even call you names or insult you. I was just trying to point out some facts.

    Not opinions. Facts.

  15. Oh, the drama! “Trump wants to be judge, jury and executioner” – as does the press who take a reported offhand statement and report it as fact.

  16. Hey Trumpuppets! Agent Orange is just getting started with his Destroy America First Agenda. His primary order of business was to destroy everything that President Obama approved. This all came about after Obama embarrassed tRump at the White House Correspondence Dinner in April, 2011. Orange Orangutan Revenge is relentless. Now that Obama’s presidential history has been eliminated it’s time for Egomaniac Orange to go after his other pet peeves, undocumented workers, Illegal immigrants, Muslims, and anyone not of the Aryan Brotherhood. As a trade-off tRump made his deals with the Republicans in congress to go after their pet peeves after his were dealt with. The first was mutual, The Affordable Care Act,(that means Obama Care for you Trumparrots). Now The Great Orange Douche Bag has to help the Republicans cripple or destroy Social Security , Medicare, and Medicaid. These programs to help the poor and middle class have been a red hot Thorn in the Republican Party’s brain since Franklin D. Roosevelt initiated their existence in the 1930’s. The GIANT TAX OVERHAUL is the initial step for this objective. While the poor and middle class are given a pittance, the wealthy are dancing in the streets about their newly acquired wealth. The loss of REVENUE, 1.7 TRILLION DOLLARS over the next ten years will necessitate the reduction or elimination of many government programs. Donald the Damned will save 40 MILLION DOLLARS a year because of the legislation he signed into law. I have no sympathy for the people who voted for tRump once they realize he is eliminating their incomes and their medical options. If they are too ignorant or stupid to realize that the Republican agenda has been to eliminate Social Security and Medicare for 75 years then they have signed their own death warrants.
