Todd and Sherry Martin of the Tucson Tamale Company have started serving breakfast on Sundays. This came as such a shock that I thought Tucson Weekly boss man Jimmy Boegle had been misinformed when he told me he’d caught wind of pancakes on the grill at the shop at 2545 E. Broadway Blvd.
It turns out the pancakes are masa cakes, and they’re used to make an incredibly delicious looking version of huevos rancheros that comes with grilled green onions. Breakfast tamales and tamales-and-eggs are also available.
