As of this writing, (10:21 p.m. Arizona time, 12:21 p.m. in Texas,) we still have no clear, firm idea of what’s going on — allegedly, the Texas Senate vote on Senate Bill 5, which would place such numerous restrictions on Texas abortion providers that nearly all providers in the state would have to close their doors, took place after the session’s midnight deadline.
Everything should be clearer in the morning (ideally), but for now, we have the image of Leticia Van de Putte asking a particularly relevant question on a night when a woman’s right to choose whether or not she wishes to continue a pregnancy hung in the balance:

K, I changed the wording in the story to include that quote, so thanks for that.
SB-5 is dead; but the Texas GOP tried to forge an approval by altering the time stamp to show it passed before midnight, but witnesses and computerized backups clearly showed it was past the deadline and therefore dead. The Lt. Gov had no choice but to declare that SB-5 was defeated. It was an historical victory for women’s rights.
Women’s rights as long as the only murdered babies are male. Can’t call it women’s rights if they’re murdering baby girls……where are their rights?
It was a historic victory for baby killers.
They aren’t babies until after they’re born. Until they are born they are fetuses.
It’s a shame the GOP is so intent on seeing unwanted babies brought into the world only to completely disregard them immediately after the umbilical cord is cut. That’s why I call them ‘pro birth’ and not ‘pro life’.
