Congressman Ron Barber’s legal team filed action in federal court this morning to force state officials to include ballots that were rejected in the Nov. 4 election. Barber trails Republican challenger Martha McSally by 161 votes.

This morning attorneys for Ron Barber for Congress and Southern Arizonans whose votes have not been counted went to Federal Court to seek relief, asking the Federal Court to order Pima and Cochise Counties to count 133 wrongfully rejected votes.
Three Arizona voters, Josh Cohen, Lauren Breckenridge, and Lea Goodwine-Cesarac, have joined with Ron Barber for Congress to file suit in Federal District Court in the State of Arizona, asking the judge to consider 133 declarations signed by individual Arizona voters, asking for their vote to be counted.
“I’m 81 years old, and in all my years, I never thought my vote would be tossed in the trash instead of counted,” said Lea Goodwine-Cesarac. “I’m an Arizonan and a United States citizen. I voted and my vote should be counted along with the more than one hundred other Arizonans whose votes were wrongfully thrown out.”
“We are talking about 133 Southern Arizona voters who lived up to their responsibility — they registered to vote and then showed up to vote,” said Kevin J. Hamilton, attorney for the voters and for Ron Barber’s campaign. “We are asking the court to ensure that every lawful vote is counted. That’s what America is all about.”

How many more funky ballots and $ to be wasted on the outcome that is a done deal? The lawyer/liars are in play hoping to find a Dem Court Judge to change the outcome. The recount starts next week anyway, so why spend the effort. Better to test dumping of illegals on us with no funding for schools, welfare agencies and eventually entitlements. Oh, more Dem voters to stuff the ballot boxes with in coming elections, get it!

It would be nice to have an explanation of the criteria that caused these ballots to be rejected. There will be a complete recount anyway (by my understanding) so these 133 ballots may be a factor (or not). It would be very suspicious if they were significantly different in distribution of votes than the rest of the district (i.e. not about a 50-50 split).
No Barber, you cannot count the illegal aliens that voted for you! If there’s a recount, they will most likely find the other thousand plus that will have to be discarded. Call up Raul Grijalva and thank him for sending over all of those illegals to vote for you but that you can’t get em’ passed the election officials.

The rules are in plain sight. You can only vote in the polling district you are assigned to. This prevents people from manipulating the system and fraudulent voting. If you are too stupid not to understand where your own voting polls are you shouldn’t be voting.

Gore won the popular alright. With approx. 1.5 million illegal aliens voting in that election. The Dems didn’t have the crap together on that election by not going after the swing states. They made up for it with Obama’s second go around tho’. An estimated 2 million illegals got in on that one and they concentrated on just the swing states.

Actually I voted for Nader, and my friends blame me for Gore’s loss. I think we need systemic change and not just a change of faces in places. But to the point, if I remember right, the Supreme Court awarded the presidency to Bush without a recount, in spite of “cleaning up” the voter rolls, voter intimidation and other anomalies. And you trolls who keep ranting about “illegals” voting… where is your proof?

When you have La Raza going on the internet advising of election stations that “do not ask for ID” and that anyone interested, could go to those locations (duh, I wonder who they were referring to???) to vote, one would surmise that they weren’t exactly talking to legal voters. 2+2=? I am a veteran. Ron Barber hosted a town hall at the VA Hospital following the Phoenix scandal. Only hung around for the speeches, but ducked out when the veterans began to speak. Completely out-of-touch with the electorate. Good riddance.
