The Range is thinking about heading downtown to Cafe a la C’Art. How about that Arizona omelet? Anita Street Market chorizo, pepperjack cheese, roasted red peppers and caramelized onions—locally sourced, mighty tasty. And it’s the first Sunday of the month, so admission to the adjoining Tucson Museum of Art is free.

For omlettes, the Ritz-Carlton cooks the very best I have ever eaten. Their spinach omlete is divine.
Bobo’s on Grant
Hungry Fox on Broadway. Double yolk eggs and great service.
Sorry, hipsters. Bobo’s is a dirty, dumpy little dive. For all the business they pull down you’d think they could clean it up & fix it up a bit.
If you LOVE breakfast, go half a mile up Grant Road to Robert’s! They bake all there own everything, prices are very reasonable, & the quality of the food can’t be beat. The French Toast is to die for, killer Chicken Fried Steak, & Boyd’s Ultimate Sandwich will make anyone forget about McWutevuh.
Who: Red Star and Mrs. Red Star
What: three egg omelette made with water (not milk) for fluffiness, filled with shredded cheddar, homegrown diced onion, homegrown diced tomato, diced and rinsed black olives, topped with homegrown chopped basil. Scalable. Side of beef fajitas, side of whole wheat or decent sourdough toast. A glass of chilled skim milk or chilled orange juice. Chase with yet another coffee, Italian roast.
Where: home–secret.
When: Sundays, once per month, max.
I’m a big fan of the bread and butter cafe
Millie’s Pancake Haus on Tanque Verde – everything is wonderful! German Pancake, Eggs Benedict, omelettes, and oh the pancakes!
The Egg Connection at Country Club and Ft. Lowell.
Reb’s Cafe in Benson.
Louise Blanc: I agree that Robert’s Restaurant is a great place for breakfast. That restaurant, however, isn’t a very good choice for a Sunday breakfast because they are closed on Sundays!
In ref to the recommendation of double egg yolk omelette offered by Hungry fox , one would be hard pressed to find a more artery clogging heart attack on a plate than
having an double yolk omelette offered , no less, with “great service”.
I like omelettes also, but my omellets are made from the colesteron free egg whites, NOT yolks.
TR
I am not going on record as the best, or even saying they are open on Sundays, BUT I tried the Old Time Cafe for the first time the Saturday and was very impressed with the breakfast.
Mother Hubbard’s on Grant and Stone
I’m shocked no has mentioned JETHRO’s on Camino Seco/Broadway. Great food, large quantities and good prices. Everthing is homemade. On a side note for lunch, their fried chicken is marinated in buttermilk and to die for. Bring your doggy bag!
Ghini’s
Absolutely, definitely Laverna’s at 220 S Plumer Ave
